the pizza place to be downtown: i've gone to this spot since 1999,and it's like the pizza places i've known & loved in my native new york.their calzones are off da chain, plus their lassagna's homemade, and delicious,i'd reccomend rosa's to anyone(especially from new york)who likes good pizza & other italian dishes to boot.

Mellow Mushroom has nothing on this place...: MGotelaere's review is pretty solid, doing a very good job in explaining exactly what happens during a typical lunch rush. The name sake for the place actually resides with the two large men behind the counter, brothers, who have owned the place forever. The woman, MGotelaure speaks of is simply an employee, but this is a true family owned and operated business in the heart of the largest city in the south east...quite a feat if you ask me! For great food, a true pizzeria atmosphere, and the best service in the south, you MUST try Rosa's.

The best pizza around. I travel to Atlanta two or three times a year for business and I make it a point to eat at Rosa's every trip. Lunch rush is insane but by the afternoon the line is small. Bring cash, credit/ATM is not accepted.

Talk About World's Best Pizza: Rosa's is the place to be. Reasonably price - adequate seating options - friendliest staff in the history of food service. The line runs outta the door between 11am and 2pm, but it moves quickly. The pizza literally melts in your mouth, along with the cheese. I've eaten there probably my entire college career...and it's starting to show...but Rosa's Pizza is well worth it.

I am not so sure about the Broad Street location but there other Pizza resturant in Marietta was aweful! Ok the Pizza was pretty good but the service was horrible! Calling the resturant took about 15 minutes and this should have been the 1st clue! But they got my order wrong and were sort of rude! Oh well! End result service bad, pizza good!

Simply the Best: Rosa's is the best place for pizza. I take everyone I know there. Make sure you bring cash as they do not accept credit cards. Trust me...it's worth it and reasonably priced.

Always perfect, never disappoints: My friend and co-worker took me here right after I started working downtown and I'm hooked. Fantastic pizza, Calzones are exceptional, atmosphere always puts a smile on my face. What you need to know before you go for lunch: 1. The line goes from the cash register, towards the door, loops and trails to the back against the wall. When you walk in the front door if people are standing against the wall to your right keep walking back until you get to the end. 2. Immediately figure out if the person in front of you has ordered yet. If so, you don't have much time! If not, you might have a minute but pay attention! 3. Figure out what you want ASAP! Their daily specials are A - 2 slices (1 topping on each), B - 1 calzone (1 ingredient + cheese) (w/sauce on side), Lasagna (meat, or spinach), Bread and sm salad. There are a million toppings as well as a white. 4.. Absolutely pay attention to the folks on the other side of the counter, when the guy (super super cool staff btw) hollers "NEXT" and that's you - be ready. 5. When you're up holler out your order to the front of the store (near the glass windows), make sure you're clear and do NOT change your mind. 6. Stay in line! By the time you get to the cash register your food will be ready, don't forget what you ordered cause they don't even bother trying to keep track. Cash only, Self-serve drinks, Line moves very very fast if the people in line know what they're doing. If you don't know what you want, don't get in line until you do. Eat outside at your own risk (bugs, wind, beggers, limited seats that fill up quick), take it to go at the office, grap a seat in the back, or go downstairs (in back also) and discover the secret (well sort of) dining room. Watch behind the counter - I'm betting Rosa is the mom, then there's her son (big guy in the center), I believe her 2 grandson's (the all look identical), and then the "NEXT" guy.

Great place Downtown for Lunch: On the frst floor of the Healy Building is this terrific spot for lunch. Rosa's pizza by the slice, calzones and sausage rolls are terrific. This family run spot has been around for about 10 years and it continues to be a lunchtime favorite of mine. Make sure you know what you'll order and pay attention because the lunchtime line moves fast.

I LOVE this place.: The food and service is good. What more can you ask for in this style of establishment. the people who work there are friendly and you can sit out on the street and enjoy the fresh air while you eat. It is downtown so there is plenty to look at and you can just chat and have a good time. They have all types of Italian (Italian-American) cuisine. The food was delicious and I am from Philadelphia originally, so when I heard that these guys were from New Jersey I had to try them. I was not disappointed. It was great.

Rosa's midday scene is one of the truest urban eating experiences in Atlanta: Fall in line with the quickly moving trail of office workers call out your order to a cook as you pass the pizza ovens and scarf down your cheese slice ($2) or...

This was it! the sauce and cheese had great flavor and the crust was nice and crisp on the outside and just chewy and airy enough on the inside.

Just like being in a NY pizza place. All slices are good--haven't tried anything else. Get in the long line (it snakes around to the back) and make sure you know what you want by the time they call you!

The crust is chewy yet crisp. The cheese has a nice pull and the sauce is not overpowering. With so many toppings you can't go wrong. Plus for $6 you can two slices with one topping and a drink. What a deal! I have to eat here once a...
