Went today for the first and last time. They had one server trying to handle the dining room and patio and the worst "hostess" I have ever witnessed... ten minutes to clean and set a table? When we were ready to leave, the server was too busy chatting up other customers or co-workers. As far as the pizza, passable. However, Mellow Mushroom on Selwyn is far, FAR better.

I go everytime i visit: i love it my family lives in north carolina and i can't wait to go back everytime i visit, its so good and the service is so great, although at times the wait is long it is worth it.

Hmmm!!! Pizza!!!!: Great place to eat, very casual with a nice atmosphere! Love the pasta dishes just as much as the pizza...real NY style!! I give it five stars!!

Best Wings In ALL of Charlotte. They don't just deep fry them like some other good places, They do an extra step after that takes the wings to the next level. Check em out, they are real good I promise.

Great Place To Have Fun: I live nearby and I have to say, everytime I go to Hawthorne's NY Pizza and Bar, I have a blast. The best part is the service, the staff...actually cares and are very entertaining people as well. It's always very clean and the food is consistantly excellent. I'm glad it's in the neighborhood....it is by far and away the best pizza place in Charlotte!

As I stated in my 2 previous posts.... Food here is really great, but be sure to carefully look at your receipt. My bill was $10.74 but I was given a bill for $18.00. I was told it was corrected but my card was charged for BOTH the $10.74 & $18.00. Keep your eyes open! That is a costly mistake, otherwise, I would have rated this establishment a 5 star.

Good Pizza: Yeah, I know pizza all pretty much tastes the same but this place has good pizza and great people that work there too. And as far as price, well for the amount or size you can get, there's not many who can beat the place.
