Old country...: This is the finest in Italian pizza. If you are looking for an old school taste, this is the place. From pizza to subs, you get nothing but the best here. SALUTE!!!!!

Good Value, food OK: Very resonable prices, and a lot of food. I have had numerous items on their menu. Pizza is great, side orders are good and lots of it. Subs are at best ok. Tons of bread with very little inside. What is inside is quality, but not a lot of it. Do away with the so much darn bread!

I am sitting here eating my pizza as I type.I am very picky about pizza. My family would normally eat Pizza Hut. Let me tell you Pizza Hut cannot touch this pizza. This is the third time ordering from here and it is down right delicious. I ordered from here very cautiously after reading the other person's review. "If you read this and you still have second thoughts on ordering from here", .Have no fear. You will not be dissappointed! Enjoy..........

This is by far the best tasting value pizza in Cleveland. You cannot beat the prize and the amount of food you get. The pan style pizza is THICK, and is not flimsey. You are getting twice as much pizza as pizza hut and papa johns, for about 5 bucks less on a large. And to be honest, Godmothers pizza is far better tasting than Papa Johns, and for sure Pizza Hut. Their pizza is always fresh, and has a very deep tasting sauce. I've been to chicago and new york, and Godmothers pizza ranks in the top 5 best pizza's I've ever tasted. No joke.

My husband and I have been hooked on Godmother's pizza for about six years now, and WOULDN'T EVEN THINK about going anywhere else. Great pizza, cooked to perfection, with the best tasting sausage you'll ever find at a pizza shop. I've always been on a quest for the best tasting pizza, and the search definitely ends here! If you want a quality pizza with fresh ingredients, generous toppings, hearty sauce and delicious crust...THIS IS THE PLACE!!! I promise you won't be disappointed.....

Godmother's is excellent, it is one of those places you tell your friends about, and then brag that it is available to you. If I were to recommend one item from the menu it would have to be the stromboli. (A tough choice due to the fact that everything on the menu is perfect.) The large stromboli seems pricey, but when you get to see and EAT this cullinary marvel, it is well worth it. Godmother's reinvented the standard for this food. Don't expect the typical "rolled loaf" stromboli that most places provide, instead expect a 30" diameter ring of stromboli stuffed into an extra large pizza box. (I swear the large weighs 8 lbs, and I'm stuffed after two pieces. 12+ pieces/ stromboli.) I bought the lrg. stromboli for my father-in-law once for his birthday and ever since I'm not allowed to show up for that particular occasion without one. The only problem I have with Godmother's is that there is only one location, and since I've moved after having eaten and become emotionally f'n attached with the place (in law's included) it is a chore to pick up. Godmother's is a diamond in the rough, surrounded by other great pizza shops, and everyone I know loves it.

Best Subs By Far...: I am a fan of the Sub sandwich. Penn Station is my pick for best hot subs, but Godmothers has, hands-down, the best cold subs in the area. Another bonus is that the price vs. the amount of sub you get is insane!! I'm a big guy, but it is all I can do to put down a small turkey sub - and it's only 5 bucks!!!

Godmothers offers a wide variety of food from pizza pasta subs and wings and a true Italian experience. Dominic is directly from Italy and his wife Imola is from Hungary. Together they run the business with their 4 children. They offer vegetarian dishes as well as vegan. They truly live up to their slogan of Love at First Bite!
