Godmother's is excellent, it is one of those places you tell your friends about, and then brag that it is available to you. If I were to recommend one item from the menu it would have to be the stromboli. (A tough choice due to the fact that everything on the menu is perfect.) The large stromboli seems pricey, but when you get to see and EAT this cullinary marvel, it is well worth it. Godmother's reinvented the standard for this food. Don't expect the typical "rolled loaf" stromboli that most places provide, instead expect a 30" diameter ring of stromboli stuffed into an extra large pizza box. (I swear the large weighs 8 lbs, and I'm stuffed after two pieces. 12+ pieces/ stromboli.) I bought the lrg. stromboli for my father-in-law once for his birthday and ever since I'm not allowed to show up for that particular occasion without one. The only problem I have with Godmother's is that there is only one location, and since I've moved after having eaten and become emotionally f'n attached with the place (in law's included) it is a chore to pick up.
Godmother's is a diamond in the rough, surrounded by other great pizza shops, and everyone I know loves it.
