About Us: Flying Pizza is a great company as they served good pizza. It is a good place to eat and satisfy your cravings for pizza but be sure to have cash on hand as they do not accept credit cards, especially on lunch time or not at all. They are also closed at times, but when you see them open, it is a must that you stop and get a pizza.

Best Pizza in Columbus: This is the only place you can get true New York style pizza. The dough is hand tossed and perfect. The ingredients are all top quality and fresh. A sign of a great pizza is when you can order it with no toppings on it and it still tastes great! If you're sick of columbus pizza and ready for something great then you need to try them out.

If you like New York Style Pizza this is your place. Plus you can buy it by the slice. They have some great lunch specials as well. Definitely worth a try.

Edited 7/11: This place is under new ownership. It's a lot more pleasant inside, and the place is open during its posted hours, which is a big improvement on the old ownership. Same recipe as before. One of the five best pizza places in town, and THE best place to get a slice. Big chewy slices that don't sit in your stomach like a lead weight. When you order a slice, they take cooked pies and throw them in their big oven for a few minutes to reheat them, and the result is yummy.... They have great, almost shaved ice in their soft drinks too. The small dining area is adequate if you want to sit and eat the slice rather than take it out the door with you.

NO PLACE ELSE!!: There is no other place that serves good quality New York Style pizza. Each pizza is freshly made when ordered, and also is available by the slice I strongly recommend his pizza. He has good quality and is friendly with all customers.

I have to say that Flying Pizza is the ONLY place you will get real NY style pizza in Ohio. Sal is a Brooklynite and no one can top his pizzas. He make the BEST pizza in town! I wouldnt care how much he charges for a pizza they are worth every dime. He even sells his pizzas by the slice and has a lunch special. I ABSOLUTELY LOVE FLYING PIZZA. The only thing I don't like is that its closed on MONDAYS! Other than that NO COMPLAINTS HERE!

Worst services for a 2nd time. I ordered a Medium pizza and not only was it not ready when I got there I am pretty sure he used the left over pizza by the slice from that day. The pie cuts clearly didn't match up 2 slices had onions it was chew and tasted like reheated pizza. Never again will I eat this pizza. AWFUL this used to be great pizza but services has killed my experience. Never again.

This location makes probably the best pizza in Columbus.... if they are open. 50% of the time we try to go to this location they are randomly closed and there's almost never a reason why. This restaurant also decided to only accept cash during the busy lunch hours a few months ago. We used to visit the restaurant on a regular basis. Since they started closing at random times for no reason and not accepting credit cards during lunch hours we only visit about once every 2 months now. Again fantastic pizza... terrible company. If you happen to be in the area and they happen to be open and you happen to have cash on you stop by. Otherwise don't plan on making the trip.
