Great Stuff: When I am in the mood for Pizza, the Great Uncle Tommy delivers. The combo of thin crispy crust, the "pools of love" pepperoni make it almost irrestible.

Simply the BEST!!!!: There is simply no better pizza anywhere than Tommy's Pizza on Lane Avenue in Arlington. OK, the decor isn't the best and it has hardly changed at all in over 30 year, the staff can sometimes be friendlier, but I guarantee you that you will find no better pizza on the face of this planet!!!! I have lived all over this country and no other pizza comes close. Try it, you won't be disappointed. Without exception, everybody that I've introduced to Tommy's Pizza now claims it is their favorite pizza, and this from people who had previously argued with me that some other place made better pizza. I no longer live in Ohio, but when I am in Columbus I have to bring a pizza or two back home or else I'm in serious trouble!

A traditional pizza shop in Central Ohio: I have eaten Tommy's Italian subs for many years. They are the best in the area. The toasted buns are excellent. The pizza is very good, not like every franchise around. They are extremely busy at lunchtime. Take out is very quick. The small dining room is plain. They need to update or expand this area.

TBDPITL: Hands down the best pizza in town, Tommy's has perfected what has come to be known as "Columbus-style pizza." Light, thin, crackery crusts with copious amounts of toppings, sliced in thin rectangles instead of fat triangles, so you can more easily share with your friends. I like how the pepperonis curl up at the edges to collect little pools of grease in them. This location is truly a Columbus institution--a haven for Buckeyes and Golden Bears alike. The staff is warm and endearing (if sometimes grouchy) and they'll leave you wondering why they just don't make 'em like this anymore.

Pretty good: I like cracker crust pizza, but Tommy's crust is almost like crispy pastry! It is good, but it was a bit of a surprise the first time I had it. The toppings are great, but the pizza could be a little cheesier. I would definitely go if I was in the area.

Tommy's is simply the best in Columbus. Hands down. Top quality everything. The subs are HUGE and the pasta dishes are fantastic. The only drawback is that the dining room is way too small for the number of tables there. The place can get really crowded. Busy nights are any Friday or if the Buckeyes are playing basketball. Don't miss this place.

Been going for years and this place has stood the test of time. Some of the best pizza ever and the subs are to die for. Everything else on the menu is great too. While the building itself is a little dated it is clean and comfortable. The seasoned and friendly wait staff does a stellar job...you get most food piping hot right from the oven. The only small con is parking but that should be expected as the restaurant is stacked at every lunch and dinner. A true Columbus icon.

AND MORE IMPORTANTLY...I know how much you love Ice cream - They've opened up Sparano's Ice Cream and Gelato in the small building next door to the pizza shop. It's not made on site (Palazzolo's Gelato) but it's pretty good and really nice...

However I can tell you that after seeing the kitchens in person I no longer will eat there. They do make a decent thin crust pizza but you try watching roaches run around the counters in the kitchen and then eat the food that comes out.

If you like pizza (and who doesn't!?) then you absolutely have to get it from Tommy's! We've come here for many decades - since high school actually and we have always enjoyed our dining. The service is very good and personable it's always clean and the food -- ah the food is wonderful! Yea Tommy's!!!!

Great midwest style pizza. We've never gone wrong eating at Tommy's. They have old world style pepperoni amazing sauce and great toppings.
