This place is absolutely wonderful! I have been coming here for years and it is the best kept secret in town. I usually get pizza but the pasta dishes are just as good. You cannot get a better deal either. A large pizza starts at $8.95 and the Baked Ziti is only $4.95. Customer service has always been good. If you order take out they make sure you get plenty of fresh baked rolls. This place is very small and does get busy. I have never been disappointed with any aspect of this place. Go try it out today. BYOB.

We go once a week!: We love Tony's because the food is always great, the prices are unbeatable and it is BYOB! The atmosphere is very hole-in-the-wall but that just adds to its charm:)

Great pizza and the best prices around. Bring your own wine and enjoy a date, or bring the family and the waiter or waitress will bring out pizza dough for the kids to play with while you wait for your meal. I can't say enough good things about this wonderful and friendly neighborhood spot.

Been a regular for about 4 years now, I have never once had a problem with the food. You can bring your own beer or wine, eat cheap and go on with your night out on the town. I would recommend it to you but I am snobby when it comes to my local dinning places... So yes it's a best kept secret in Dallas. So to the person with the long hair in the food, oh well sucks for you. Thumbs Up!

Love it! Love it! Love it! This place is family owned and operated and they are great! We love their pizza, their spaghetti with meat sauce, the bakes ziti, and the rigatoni arabiata. It's a place we visit a few times a month. Great service, great food, great price. It's good for a date, young family with kids, friends visiting. It's just a good place to eat.

i have been going to this place for about 2 yrs now,and i have to tell you it is the best pizza in dallas because the sauce is not canned,it is scratch cooking because i have been seated where i can see them using cream and real wine in saucepans,it is not pre boxed processed crap like most italian places, the service does suck from time to time because i am assuming it is family owned and sometimes the only server is an old lady that looks beat down and really shouldnt be waiting tables, the crappy service is worth it

Bolognese sause is gross. The reason why it's cheap because they use cheap products, hard plastic plates, and paper napkins. Way too many kids there. The owners aren't even Italian.

Great Package Experience: Friendly staff, good food, great prices. We have gone many times. We always get large portions. Kids got pizza dough to play with while we were waiting for our food. Great fun.

The greatness that is Tony's! My wife and I have been coming to Tony's since before we lived in Lake Highlands and since before they expanded into the doughnut shop. Tell me; where else in Dallas can you get a great Veal dish for under $10? I'll tell you, no where. Not only is the Veal outstanding, but the pasta dishes and if you have kids the Stromboli and Calzone is out of this world. We have bought many of our friends to Tony's and have had birthday parties with 20+ people there, and everyone has always said, when are y'all having another one there? Tony's is especially nice for those folks like us who are on a budget, since its BYOB. Tony's also does not charge a "corking fee". A "corking fee" is a way for some to charge (usually a nominal fee, but a fee none the less) to open and/or use the glasses to drink out of since its BYOB. Tony's, in recent months, has gained in popularity so be ready to wait on any given night after 6. There has been some comment's on the slow service and yes, I have experienced that personally, but come one, are we really in that big of a hurry? Isn't it nice to sit across from loved ones/friends/bad blind dates and enjoy the $10 bottle of wine you bought yourself over a nice Shrimp Scampi? Alias, I'm rambling. Point is, try Tony's. What have you got to lose?

We LOVE Tony's! Tony and his family are marvelous. They always accomodate my daughter and me! The food is wonderful, the atmosphere cheery....they do create a crowd and they aren't always organized. But the food is consistently wonderful. You may bring your own wine and they provide the glasses.

I love this place. The food is awsome the I love the bring your wine thing, The pizza dough for the kids. We can go on date nite or family nite. We always have a great time. I have even ordered a few to go orders. Which has always been ready and always right. Yea its a little crowded, but its worth the wait. As you wait you see the whole neighborhood come to Tony's.

Complete Disappointment: Heard/read much about this place and had high expectations. I'm wondering about the palate of the reviewers as this was some of the blandest Italian food I've had in years. Service was mediocre at best. No host and chaos ruled while people kept arriving and ignoring the line which gathered just outside the nonexistent waiting area. Yet the staff made very little efforts at crowd control--a big no-no for restaurants as most people these days are self-absorbed and rude when it comes to shared public spaces -- especially mothers with young children. That was just the start of the let-downs. The table was missing it's cheese shaker (come on! it's an Italian restaurant...I shouldn't have to ask for it) and it's other shakers were greasy to the touch. Rolls were fine but a bit too doughy (does no one like fully cooked bread anymore?). We both had pasta which was the equivalent of white bread rolled and cut and soaked in boiling water (with no flavor no less -- not even salt!). The red sauce had zero depth and just tasted like sweet canned tomato sauce. The meat was acceptable. We requested one item several times and reminded the waitress of it to no avail. She finally mentioned that it never came -- oh, really?! We asked for it only 4 times -- I hadn't noticed. But besides all this (which is all too common) the layout was annoying. Having take-out patrons stand right next to your table talking on the phone or with their rowdy kids (are there any other kind?) bouncing around was a complete turn off. Why not put the take out counter in the back dining room with a separate entrance/exit? And why no hostess station? Either be a restaurant or be a self-serve cafeteria but choose one please. While it was cheap in price, I would rather have had a frozen dinner in the comfort of my own home. If you are looking for good tasting food with an enjoyable atmosphere, go elsewhere.

Cheap Tasty Italian Food: This place is fabulous! The food is cheap and it taste wonderful. The pasta dishes are 5-6$ and it is much better than fast food! It is a small joint so on the weekends there is usually a wait. Service can be slow so don't be in a hurry.

Tony's Pizza & Pasta. Though service can be slow on busy nights the New York-style pizza is amazing and the restaurant is BYOB. Try the lasagna; the locals love it. 10233 E. Northwest Hwy. 214-503-0388.

Great neighborhood restaurant in the White Rock Lake area. Family owned and operated. The calzone and stromboli are a great value. Their garlic rolls and house salad are excellent! If you want wine you need to bring your own. Be prepared to have a great meal at a great price!
