The greatness that is Tony's! My wife and I have been coming to Tony's since before we lived in Lake Highlands and since before they expanded into the doughnut shop. Tell me; where else in Dallas can you get a great Veal dish for under $10? I'll tell you, no where. Not only is the Veal outstanding, but the pasta dishes and if you have kids the Stromboli and Calzone is out of this world. We have bought many of our friends to Tony's and have had birthday parties with 20+ people there, and everyone has always said, when are y'all having another one there? Tony's is especially nice for those folks like us who are on a budget, since its BYOB. Tony's also does not charge a "corking fee". A "corking fee" is a way for some to charge (usually a nominal fee, but a fee none the less) to open and/or use the glasses to drink out of since its BYOB. Tony's, in recent months, has gained in popularity so be ready to wait on any given night after 6. There has been some comment's on the slow service and yes, I have experienced that personally, but come one, are we really in that big of a hurry? Isn't it nice to sit across from loved ones/friends/bad blind dates and enjoy the $10 bottle of wine you bought yourself over a nice Shrimp Scampi? Alias, I'm rambling. Point is, try Tony's. What have you got to lose?
