Terrible experience @ Amici's of Philadelphia in Ft Myers. Ordered a calzone & a meatball hoagie. 45 minutes later no food. No apologies from staff when we canceled the order. They were very upset. Fresh calzone takes 15 minutes to bake. Meatballs should be ready. only 1 other table seated & 1 take out pick up. Server never checked on us. "experienced" staff started today. No wonder they had to cut their seating down.

WOW Whata cheese Steak: I ordered the Cheese Steak, it was HUGE , I couldnt eat all of it right then so I took half of it home. The meat was soooo good and the roll was surprisingly good, I had pepers, onions and mushrooms with Provolone cheese, I will DEFINATLY BE GOING BACK.

When I have bad pizza it is frozen microwave pizza. This pizza was not even that good. The service was bad, and the manager is a ass hole

The food was nether good nor bad, but the service sucked and after waiting forever we asked for the manager. Some guy named Brian was a real jerk, very rude acting like we where doing wrong after waiting 45 minutes for our lunch. This was unreal how he treated us. Go some where else for lunch and enjoy your meal

This restaurant came highly recommended...there will be no recommendation from me nor from my co workers. It was bad enough it took them 1 1/2 hr to delivery the food but the food was cold and the stromboli was burnt. They say fire cooked, no it was burnt. Not only did we have to call them while we were waiting because of the long wait, but when we called back and spoke with the owner to inform him of the issues with the food he acted like he didn't even cared, not even an apology.

Horrible, disgusting resturant. Went there to eat, and watched someone smoking in the kitchen while cooking. Not only that, but saw roaches crawling up walls.

I am the owner of Amici's of Philadelphia. the reviews that have been written in this section have been a good lesson in what the internet can do, both good as well as bad. Some of the things written in here have been written by disgruntled X employee's and a couple were written by a guy that has never been in the door of my restaurant. He is a hacker that I have unfortunetly gotten on his bad side. please use discretion when reading these reviews. NOBODY HAS CONTROL OVER WHAT IS WRITTEN ON THESE REVIEWS and they are annonymous

Will never return!: This business does not honor coupons even though they are valid coupons and all terms had been met. The coupon had an expiration date that was valid also. Waitress had one story of how many coupons had been turned down and manager or owner had another story about that nobody was bringing these coupons in. We walked out and gave them none of our business!!!

If it was possible to give this restaurant no stars, I would. Today our office made a large order from Amicis in Fort Myers, after we all finished our meals there was cockroaches in our sealed by the restaurant salad. When I called the restaurant and spoke to the manager I was put through to the owner, who denied our complaint by saying that it didn't come from his restaurant...that he had exterminators on a regular basis after which he (Brian) hung up on me. Do not eat here. Food was subpar and the owner is NO business man!

I have been going to Amici's for almost three years now. I have eaten there probably 50 times. I have never had bad service or a bad meal...EVER!! I have used their (FREE) delivery service 4 or 5 times and never had a problem. Their salads are phenomenal as well as their cheesesteak hoagies!!!

I've eaten Amici's food twice since I've moved to Ft.Myers. The first time I had two slices of thier cheese pizza and an order of garlic bread. Fantastic. The pizza was true to their claimed east coast heritage, and the garlic bread was perfectly done. The second time I ordered cheese stix and wings. The chesse sticks were probably the best I've had in a long time. (credit the cheese)The Marinaria however is a waste of a cup, think red water soup as opposed to a flavorful sauce. The wings, which on my first visit were talked up, were a disappointment. The texture and doneness were both to my liking, but the lack of sauce and heat for a "hot" order really let me down. The skin was crunchy, the meat pulled easily from the bone, and the wings were plenty big enough, they just didn't do it for me. Side not: Personality behind the counter could use some minor improvement. Pizza 4/5 Wings 2/5

i was employed with amici pizza for a short time and witnessed their extremely poor customer service and disgusting food preparation first hand. When customers would complain the owners would argue right back with them most of the time. The food is almost always prepared with a lit ciggarette hanging out of the owners mouth. Most disgusting place ive ever encountered and the biggest lack of concern towards the customer ive come across!!
