these people from NYC can cook Italian!: yum! Love their Cream of Spinach soup. Once I popped in the Godfather while eating one of their dishes take-out, so appropriate!, now I can't hear the Godfather theme without wanting to order from there. Eating in is very nice, too. Nice ambience. Their chicken with mushrooms is yummy.

One of our favorites: This is one of my family's favorite restaurants. The food is great home-made Italian that is always fresh. The staff is very friendly and the ambiance is terrific. No beer or wine is sold, but it is BYOB and there is a Majestic Liquor accross the parking lot if you would like to stop in and get a bottle of chianti. You can't beat the price for fresh, home-made Italian. Highly recommended!

My wife and I always get the eggplant and it the best ever. The building is old but you can not complain with BYOB!

OMG can you say "The Godfather"!: Don't blink. You'll miss it. It's not the easiest to spot from Hulen Street, but Prima's is the BEST place to go for what I like to call "homemade italian straight from NY". And yes, I'm a native NYer planted down here and we DO have the best Italian food. The restaurant doesn't look like much from the outside, but inside, you walk into alot of ambiance and character...I especially love the italian newspapers decoupaged on the ceiling and the old wine baskets hanging from everywhere. The pizza is fantastic, and the entrees are pure heaven. The prices are just right, alot cheaper than other more chainlike places. The location is not great, cause you don't see it till you're past it, but that doesn't matter; they have a huge following strictly by word of mouth. Check it out, what have you got to lose except your hunger? I recommended anything with eggplant or just about anything on the menu...its all good. BTW its BYOB. Chow! Bella!

Primas Restaurant: While very hungry and looking for a restaurant in an area we didn't know, Primas came to the rescue. Enchanting food with an atmosphere we'll return to.

One of, if not THE best family owned Italian restaurants in Fort Worth! My family has been going here for years and have celebrated many family events with the staff of Prima's. The service is always great; the waiters are personable and always remember a friendly face. The owners are often present and happy to chat with you. Always amazing food that is ready quickly and never disappointing. They have the most wonderful bread served with your meal... one of our favorite parts of the meal! I can't say enough good things about this restaurant, everyone should try it- you will be hooked! ENJOY!

i really enjoyed the italian food here at prima pasta.. i tried the lasagna and of course had some of their famous pizza. it was very good. their cheese taste so fresh and the bread is so soft and buttery..

If you have a weird thing about whether a cute waiter/waitress will be overly-excited about your hot date take them here. The service is less-than-mediocre consistently. The food and the atmosphere is superb along with the prices. The owner is crazy friendly but his employees look like they would rather be working in a cemetery! Best date place in Hulen area of FW
