This place was a mess: We did go on a friday night and the bar was much more busy then the restaurant. I went with my family to eat at Happy Dog, which we were seated upstairs and we had to eat in the dark because the waitress had accidentally hit the off switch and did not come back to check on us for almost 30 minutes. The bar, they do not know to cut people off. A lady came bursting into the bathroom and couldnt even hold herself up, then went straight to the bar and the bartender still served her when she was clearly drunk, she couldnt even stand up straight, this is pathetic

This is a wonderful restaurant, have gone there with my kids a few times. They have great paper tablecloths and give the kids a bucket of crayons to color with. Pizza was pretty decent too!!! I would give it 4 stars out of 5.

Gourmet-style pizzas, salads, and pastas, oh, and a FULL BAR, oh my. Love the cute menu names--my favorite salad is the "Even Cowgirls Get the Blues." It's a casual place, but the food is more on the upscale side in that they have unusual flavor combinations on some of their pizzas. Very family friendly. You can draw on the tablecloths! They just remodeled and now there are fun dog pictures all over the walls. Five stars for me means the food is good, the price is right, and the people are friendly. Doesn't get much better in my book.

Went to Happy Dog last night for a Valentines dinner. I love the building. Really a nice job renovating. The staff is really friendly, although the waitress should have been a little more heads up. We had the heart shaped pizza with salads and a small side of pasta. The shape of the pizza was adorable, it was a heart shape. The biscuits shaped like a dog bone are really tasty. It was open mike night which was very enjoyable. The bartender was very welcoming and cool. But the food, was the worst food I have ever eaten . Terrible. Ruined the night to pay good money for unbelievably terrible food. Get a Chef for goodness sake. i will never visit again.

Happy Dog Pizza folded a long time ago. It was replaced by a terrible restaurant called Firehouse Grill - ate there once, and dreaded it. Now the prior owners of Crazy Coyote have opened it as Station 55, a title it had 15 years ago - the new Station 55 is affordable and an excellent restaurant.
