Pizza is good but not worth the effort. I have been there 3 times recently for lunch when the pizza-by-the-slice pie was gone and they weren't bringing any more out. Come on! It's the lunch hour and people have driven over here to eat at a pizza restaurant. Totally inexcusable for an "East Coast" style pizza joint to not have any slices available at lunch. If you complain, the owners will bark back and tell you not to come back in. Forget it- I'm sticking to Anthony's for real pizza.

I've always considered this place AWESOME for lunch, but just visited for dinner last night and I'm hooked. Try the Chicken Alfredo! It's to die for, pasta is made fresh, the chicken is grilled and it actually tastes like parmesan cheese (other than that gross white bland sauce you find everywhere else). For Us Adults - they have a bar. :) Dinner is between 4pm -8pm, not too busy, didn't see small kids around (which made it nice and quiet for those looking for a nice quiet dinner out). NOT JUST FOR STEAK BOMBS ANYMORE!!! lol :)

Great food and I had to go back for seconds the next day. Try the Italian sausage sandwich you'd swear that you're back in Philly. The lasagna was great and the garlic bread was more than ample. If I lived in the area I would be here at... - chefmoz.org - Mar-10-2006

We were so disappointed when our favorite local italian restaurant Giovanni's in Lakewood closed. So we were thrilled recently to find Giovanni's former owner and chef Sal cooking at Bono's. - csiracusa - Oct-15-2010

We tried this restaurant on 2 different occasions. The first time we tried the pizza. The crust was fine - but a bit too sweet but there was absolutely no sauce on it. Probably so they could get the crust crispy. Very tasteless. We spoke to the owners about it and they said since we did not order a pizza from the menu they put less sauce on it to make sure the crust is crispy. We went back about a month later and ordered entrees off of the menu. I ordered the pesto with cream sauce and my husband ordered chicken marsala. The marsala wine they used tasted like it sat in an open bottle for months near a hot stove - it tasted off. Mine "cream sauce" was a bowl of water with about 1 teaspoon of cream added to it with about a 1/4 tsp of basil. Horrible! We sent both dishes back. The waitress asked if she could scrape off the marsala sauce on the chicken and add some Parmesan cheese to it. We were flabbergasted! Um no. We ordered a pizza from the menu instead. We got it and I lifted up the ... - Urban taster - Jun-27-2010

Even the lasagna is cheese only no meat. I ordered ravioli with a meatball (a small one at that) so that I could have some meat. Both of our dishes came to us just 1/2 way warm. They actually served us relatively quickly so I'm not sure... - yellowpages.com - Nov-20-2008
