Wow, cannot believe the reviews. Took a group of six for the daily brunch last week,,,,,,and it was horrible. Limited seletion that was COLD, dirty looking place...just terrible. Never will I go there again.

I ate at Fred's recently yes I know whats new? Well what is new is the expanded menu! He keeps adding too it so keep trying new dishes! They still have the best pizza in Grand Rapids. The new items on the menu ..at least the ones I have tried are great! So if you have not been to Fred's recently go and enjoy! The beer is cold!!!

It's all about the food.: Over thirty years ago I was told this was the best place in Grand Rapids to get a pizza! It still has not been surpassed. They also make a terriffic pizza sub. You can't go wrong with either. This is great food at a good price. Family oriented, but it's also a great spot to stop in late after a night about town.

Fred's Pizza has always been a topic worth talking about. Their pizza is phenominal and everybody knows it. But what they don't know, is how great their pasta is! Fred's Pizza's pasta is to die for. It's so cheesy and delicious. I love it so much.

The best pizza in Grand Rapids. Everything they make is wonderful so much better that the boring chain restaurants around town. If you are interested in some authentic Italian food at a very reasonable price you can't do better than Fred's. The service is as good as any restaurant in town. All of the staff including the owner Sam (Freds son) and Sam's lovely wife are very nice. They actually care if you enjoyed your meal! Even the ice cold Labatts served on tap is good and inexpensive. Go give Fred's a try you will be glad you did.

Love it: Some of the best pizza I've ever eaten. But what makes this place tops in my book? Tiramisu. Real tiramisu.

Lots of real "home Made" Italian food with super service. This place is awesome! Home made chicken noodle soup with home made noodles. Excellent! The pizza is absolutely the best there is. I just can't do them justice on here. Go and try for yourself. Home made everything! A family run business by real Italian people that know what they are in the kitchen! SO GOOD! Definitely my favorite restaurant!

Fred's Pizza is a family tradition for us. My father was a State Trooper in Rockford many years ago and he took us 3 kids to Fred's when Fred's was like a house., not the restuarant it is today. It was so good then and it is just as good now. Our family has spread out over the years but my Dad who is retired now still eats at Fred's, as a matter of fact whenever we visit Grand Rapids, any member of our family eats at Freds and then brags to the other "I ate at Fred's!" If anyone would ask where to eat in Grand Rapids I would tell them to skip the "chains..."Eat at Freds!"

Hospitality unmatched, food delectable, full flavored, fresh is served at this Italian Bar and Grill. The cook who is a native of India is delightfully skilled and the taste of the spinache, artichoke dip appitizer is second to none like it in all of Grand Rapids. The food portions are worth every minute spent in this warm, family atmosphere. I have enjoyed this established family owned business for 34 years.

I have lived in town for most of my life and never found an Italian Resturant that was more enjoyable. The food is wonderful! The pizza the best I have ever had anywhere. If you have tried Fred's you alredy know if you havent yet do yourself a favor.

If I had a choice I would never eat any where else. When I become rich I want to buy this place so I can just hang out there all day like some movie with gangsters in it. The food is that good and that unique.

Fred's makes the best pizza in town - and very affordable. I think the sauce makes the pizza theirs is delicious plus the wait staff has always been good my family has been fans for many years!

It used to be the best pizza in town and then suddenly it went bad in a really bad way. The quality went out the window. I stop in there from time to time to see if they learned from their mistake but it just never works out. I gave up.I used to order one of their pizzas every weekend. Sad.
