Went here on a friend's recommendation and it's obvious that he hasn't had great pizza. This place is marginal for pizza. Much better places around GB.

Very good pizza, similar to DiMarini's in Milwaukee... However, very smokey inside, and long wait... We usually get it to go.

A Green Bay Institution: My parents have been going to this place since my dad was in college. And while it's appearance and location gives the impression that it is a bar (a big part of it is, yes), this is also a restaurant. No different than a bar and grill, only their specialty is pizza. And it's excellent pizza. I usually order it take out, but I eat in there once in a while. Everyone should try the pizza here. It's so good.

Nice pizza but...: I like the food at Jake's pizza but the cussing, cliquey, sailor-mouthed waitresses leave a bad aftertaste. Best to order ahead and take out.

Bestest pizza around. It's worth the wait. Call ahead and your pizza will be waiting for you.

Best pizza in town hands down. very unique. They used to have the coolest staff ever- almost like a hip Cheers vibe- I have so many good memories. Unfortunately, the new owner fired everyone without reason. Horrible- I'm never going back

Went there this evening around 7, ordered a pizza to go, had about a 40 minute wait. Sat at the bar to wait and have a couple of beers, the servers and bartender were friendly. When my pizza was ready I was offered cheese and red peppers, nice chance not having to ask. Taste of the pizza was good, not great in my estimation, it may be a regional thing, but it is way better than the chain pizza places. Best part is they fully cook it unlike many places I've gone to that try to rush it when they get busy and you get an under cooked pizza, I like a crispy crust. Only drawback is the smoke, especially at the bar. I know, if you don't like smoke don't go there but for one this was my first time there and secondly it could be improved with better smoke removal / filtration systems. All in all I will go again but most likely will call my order in.

Great pizza, it does take time so be prepared to wait...Also 2nd hand smoke is in the dining area. I will dine there again.

Wonderful Place: Jake's has been around forever. They remodeled the place years ago, but I enjoyed the older, darker, vinyl-boothed pizza joint from earlier days just as much. Their pizza with its "pastry" crust is some of the best around, & not like anywhere else. Great ingredients (roasted garlic, jalapenos, etc.). There's usually a long wait time, so meanwhile try their bread with the cheese sauce - you won't be disappointed. Good drinks, cool employees.

Was able to choke down one piece of pizza but sure didn't want any more. Sorry to say a frozen cardboard pizza would have tasted better! Service was ok but never went back to see if the pizza was always this bad. Have had others tell me the same thing so it must always be like that.

The pizza is delicious the service is great though I typically take my pizza to-go since smoking is still welcome here.

We have Packer tickets so we eat in Green Bay alot and this is a good place to eat the pizza is excellent along with the prices.The inside is beautiful.Highly recommend.
