Excellent Pizza outside the Beltway: I love this pizza palace. Try the Greek Pizza, extra garlic. Great pizza, superior to the 'sub-standard' delivery style pizza. Dine in, BYOB, great family place just outside of the Westside Tennis Club. Delivery may take a little longer however the pizza is fabulous and worth the wait.

Just like being back on the East Side: I am from Manhattan. This is the only place in Houston I can get the real stuff. I did have to ask for the additional garlic. I guess, lack of it was an allowance for local tastes. Friendly service. The owner went out of his way to prepare a special meal for my handicapped son. Real New York style pizza. Worth the drive. Bringing the Best of Manhattan to the South: Finding authentic pizza can be a challenge in our great city. With so many pizza establishments from which to choose, it can almost be overwhelming. But let me help you narrow your search to a small hole in the wall on the west side of town...Manhattan Pizza. Their pizza is as good as it gets and they serve bufallo wings that are out of this world! I've sampled pizza from almost every establishment in Houston, from the big chains, down to the hole-in-the-walls that most people don't even notice. By far, I have to say, the search ends here for the perfect pizza. It is almost like ordering for delivery, directly from New York. After eating their pizza, my pizza-ordering loyalty lies with this shop. If you decide to dine at their establishment, I'd recommend ordering a pizza for your table and taking any leftovers home. They offer a buffet for lunch, but I've found that the fresh pizza hot out of the oven is really the best! It's a very casual environment, small in size and family friendly. This isn't somewhere you'd want to plan a romantic evening by far. This is a place where you could take a friend or have a relaxed casual date. If you order for a delivery, they generally take about 45 minutes. While this is typically about 15 minutes or so longer than most places, it is definitely worth the wait! If my raves about their pizza hasn't convinced you, try it yourself and you'll be hooked! I'll just say, the pizza speaks for itself.

Best Pizza in Houston!: Great food and excellent service (BTW, best looking hostess in all of Houston!!!). I travel to Houston from the East cost quite often and Manhattan pizza was highly recommended to me by local friends. â?? What a great choice!

The best pizza in town: One name comes in mind when someone says great pizza, and that name is Manhattan Pizza. I wouldn't say that Manhattan Pizza is a good place to get pizza just to be saying it is, it is actually the best pizza I've ever had. The chicken pesto is especially good. They not only have great pizza but they also have a big screen televison that the employees let you have the remote to. They also just recently added a soft serve ice cream machine that you can have free servings of when you eat in. Manhattan pizza is also always very clean. overall I'd say that Manhattan pizza is the best pizza place in town.

New Yorkers Opinion: I drive from the EAST SIDE of town to go eat @MANHATTAN PIZZA and along the way I pass up a bunch of TRASH that people from TEXAS like to call "PIZZARIAS"!!! Its worth the drive because it sure is alot cheaper than flying to NEW YORK!

It's worth the drive no matter where you live: excellent pizza....cannot beat the value for the lunch "all u can eat pizza, salad, wings, dessert" buffet....too bad they're moving to HW6 and I-10...I'm still going there frequently regardless...please try this pizza...enjoy

I drove to their new location on Highway 6 and they're gone! Anyone know what happened to Manhattan Pizza? Hopefully their closing is temporary due to the construction on Highway 6.

Huge portions!: Have had pizza delivered twice, along with an order of fettucini alfredo. The pizza was excellent! The fettucini came with a great salad (not just lettuce) and plenty of garlic bread. Portion was about 7 cups - huge! Excellent. I will never order P.Hut again.

The Best In Houston!, possibly, Texas: I'm a native houstonian who moved up north to central New Jersey for several years , upon moving back, I discovered the pizza here to be so inferior, we rarely had the oportunity to enjoy it. The service was totally 5 star, the pizza was a 10 and my son got to watch cartoons and make friends. bottom line, wherever you live, its worth the distance. The owner even hangs out, giving free smiles, frequently, and is genuinely interested in making your dining experience a pleasant one. Try IT!
