Houston, Texas 77007
(713) 861-2266

About Us: Just one bite of the delicious calzones, moussaka or Greek pizza will make you an instant devotee of this unpretentious Memorial Park restaurant. Housed in a former gas station, Biba's Greek Pizza features an air-conditioned indoor dining area with limited seating, but you will want to dine alfresco here. Greek pizza focuses more on the crust, which Biba's prepares to perfectionmoist and light inside, with a crunchy exterior. The Spinach Pizza, topped with spinach, garlic and feta, or the Aphrodite Pizza, piled with tomatoes, feta, garlic and grilled chicken are a delightful way to eat your vegetables. Try the Greek retsina wine. It is open 24 hrs on Friday and Saturday.

Very Disappointing: I used to like Biba's until my last couple experiences there. They would frequently get my order wrong, but the food was decent and it's close to my office. What happened recently was so bad I will not be back again. While waiting for food to go, a staff member began to complain about one of her customers very loudly. She went so far as to call her customer an "ass" because he was in a hurry and was frustrated that his food was taking so long. Then the staff and kitchen were yelling "shut up" and "shut your mouth" to each other back and forth. I felt very uncomfortable. Having been a waitress, I understand being frustrated with customers, but expressing those feelings in front of other customers is a big "no-no". Come on! I normally call my orders in and pick them up, so this was the first time I'd ever sat in the restaurant and waited. Since I had time to scrutinize the place, I realized that it's quite dirty. The walls and floors are dirty and the kitchen looked filthy. Yuck! After waiting nearly 20 minutes for a gyro to go, I stood up and approached the counter, realizing that an order that had been sitting off to the side of the grill for nearly 15 minutes already was mine! Nobody had bothered to notice or take responsibility for order, or see if it was what I was waiting there for. Needless to say, by the time I got to eat the food, the sauce was warm, the meat was cold and the bread (which was going stale) was hard. This place needs to take more pride in what it's doing! It's such a shame. I don't recommend it.

Best pizza I ever had (in Houston): It was about 10 years ago and it was awesome! Flavorful, cheesy, the bottom was crispy and buttery. It was the best!!!

Best Late night Greek around.: Open 24hrs. Best greek salad and bread. The booths are pretty big.. Service is kinda slow at night, but worth going to for late night munchies by yourself or with a friend. They also have a nice large outside eating area, perfect for breakfast! I eat here atleast 2 to 4 times a month, never a bad experience. Great to try atleast one of everything on the menu, even if you can't say the greek name. Very clean and attentive service.

Great Place: Excellent food! Very unassuming place that makes it even more special. The bankette seating is very generous. Great value for money! Highly recommended for an informal outing

Will continue to go back another 10 years: The Greek food is superb. The waiters remember your name and table. The meditteranean dip plater is superb, as is the "Greek Sampler". Also an excellent place for breakfast and a late night bite. If you need take out, and you're not sure what you want or need for so many people John will put together a masterpiece for your guests. The decor is like that of a diner, very casual. Biba's is a Houston institution. Catering to club kids at night, and business men on power lunches during the day. The menue is also diverse, serving everything from an exquisit lamb chop, to cheese omlettes. Nothing is compromised. This place is low key, and charming. Nice Greek wine list. I have never had a bad experience here. You will not be dissapointed.

BEST PIZZA EVER!: I cannot put into words how good this places pizza is. I am not lying when I say this is the best pizza I have ever eaten and never go anywhere else for pizza when I can. Try the Acropolis pizza, with its spinach pie topping. I hate spinach, but this pizza is to die for. You dont have to take my word for it, go there and find out for yourself. This is the best pizza place around, and I hav never had better pizza in my life, so as far as I know, this is the best pizza place in the world.

Enjoy spinach garlic feta tomatoes grilled chicken and lots of other vegetables to choose from. The restaurant itself is not pretentious - they're one of those places that are known for their delicious food. And it's great because...

Biba's is great. The calzones are filling and you can get whatever you want for filling. I recently ate here for the first time with a coworker and I will now make it a regular stop.

Yeah the pizza was great and the sandwiches were good. I recomend this place too. The man at the counter was kind of intimidating though if that matters. If you're getting pizza make sure you go for the Greek Special. I'm not sure which sandwich is good though as I've only had 2.

Don't go. The place has been dozed to the ground. You'll have to get the grub from the West Gray location. Hubba hub.
