A Good Business...that went downhill: I would like to give a HUGE thank you to Monty's Pizza for treating me & my friends as customers should be treated up until yesterday. (If you need me to elaborate, you can read my blog about how Peparoni's Pizza of Chesapeake treated me quite rudely. Meanwhile, I have come to find that there are no pizza places in Huntington WV that are competent enough to even deliver a pizza, much less treat a customer with respect. Their focus-the money. THE ALMIGHTY DOLLAR IS ALWAYS RIGHT, NOT THE CUSTOMER.) For starters, I live on the West End, but to most pizza places, this means NO MAN'S LAND. And the ones who will deliver in this area treat you badly b/c they are aware that they are the monopoly. The only places that deliver to my house are Pizza Hut and Giovanni's, two places that I cannot eat from. Peparoni's no longer delivers here. And when we do decide to have them deliver, we wait nearly two hours. We just pick it up ourselves now, from GINOS. Monty's was nice enough to deliver, AFTER we waited two hours the other night, then finally sent the husband out to pick it up. When he got to the establishment, he was told that the pizza was already delivered. The person behind the counter REFUSED to take the money from my husband. They gave him a voucher for a free pizza. While he was on his way back home, the pizza was indeed delivered, cold & hard. We were so hungry, we ate it anyway.
We called Friday night to get our free pizza, and we were told that Doug refused to pay. They had the audacity to offer to deliver our order for payment after insulting my spouse. I told him to hang up the phone. We got Ginos instead.
I guess accomplishing some things such as manners, fully cooked food, and getting an order correct and delivered in less than two hours, are just too hard for ANY pizza place. Excellent Job, Monty's! Thank you again! *sarcasm dripping*
