Nice Little Deli: Deli's are hard to find near the water in Jersey City, that's why it is nice to have the Green Cow around here. The deli has a better selection than many of the deli's I used to go to when I lived in the city. The food is pretty good and the people are nice. I especially like their selection of Panini's and also their breakfast sandwiches in the morning. OH, can't forget to mention the brick oven pizza which is pretty good too. But, I do recommend staying away from the Chicken Francaise. I dont' think deli's were meant to serve that kind of food. It was pretty bad.

Love the deli... they have very good ham and cheese here. I am sure to visit at least twice a month, they have very good deals on things normal gorcery store ignore.

What a Treasure Down at the Hook: Food businessess come and go in downtown JC, but this one seems to have found a niche. I have visited the cow numerous times and have not yet been disappointed. I have probably eaten just about everything on their extensive menu as well. By far the green cow burger is out of this world, has a spicy guacamole spread, crisp bacon and pepperjack cheese on it. salads are pretty good as well. pizza's are made in what seems to be a brick oven, i have tasted it and must admit that it is not bad at all. Give em a try if you havent yet.

Great Spot..............: This is a great spot to have lunch on a nice day. I live in downtown JC, so I do eat here on occasion. I cant give it a rave review, but most of the items that I have tried have been excellent such as their pizzas. Some have been just average. I have always experienced good service here and the mangmt has been attentive to some of my comments.

Great location though; This place does have some good healthy alternatives. The prices are not bad either. The one thing though -- the service -- is pretty bad. Maybe it was just my one experience but thats all im going to judge it off of
