Vinos: Vinos is local "hang out' resturant. They are the place for Pizza and Calzone and small salads and if your into it beer. They do a great job with all of it. If you want a quick bite they are not the place because they are a bit slow but if you want to talk and eat and hang out it's the place to go.

The pizza is very good. The "service"....not so much but it's cool because it's less money coming out of my pocket for the tip. My girlfriend and I ordered pizza and were pretty surprised to find out water costs more than soda. The lemon on the rim of our cup smelled like it had been under someone's sweaty armpits. We'll definitely be coming back but we'll probably do take out or something. $1.50 for a cup of water is ridiculous. It's not like Arkansas is having a drought right now.

Vino's is a good local eatery. They do not disappoint with their pizza and calzones. Locals, both blue collar and suit-and-tie, come here daily to enjoy the food and the atmosphere. The staff is very friendly. Just park across the street and enjoy a good lunch. The only negative I found was an odd odor coming from the back room and the restrooms. But the large windows upfront give you a great view and plenty of light.

Good Pizza, good urban atmosphere: The pizza has a crispy crust and was very hot and quite good, like New York pizza with a Chicago thin crust.

Set in the middle of Arkansas's rising local scene, Vino's offers stunning music venue, and great pizza to boot! Totaling over a hundred bands I've seen play here, I've yet to see a performance here that I haven't been completely satisfied with. This is a great place to stop by for a fun night, whether you're from out-of-town, or even a local just looking for something to occupy your time!

From Nowhere to Somewhere: Several years ago Vinos used to be part of the underground circuit. Now it's mostly a yuppie-prep-mainstream-modern beat-nick hang-out for those aspiring to be "cool and in the scene." Local bands could get a gig at Vinos once upon a time with no problem and they were good bands I might add. Now you have to have a demo, bio, references, fan-base, website, etc just to be considered. Now the food is as ok as anything an intermediate cook might make. My only problem with the food they serve are the sanitary conditions of the workers and how clean they keep their hands. They do brew their own house beer which isn't that bad at all, 3 stars there. This is definitely a place for age groups 15-35 yrs. Lastly, if your looking for popular melting pot-oh-trends this is the place for you.

best calzones in the rock, live music, great beer: Offering alternative music shows, the best brews and great food for little money, Vino's Pizza-Pub-Brewery is a popular spot for a variety of crowds. The restaurant features huge portions of pizza, sandwiches and salads at great prices. The Pizza Margherita is incredible. The pub boasts 10 special brews, including Shamrock Stout and Quawpaw Quarter Porter. The back room sees the most excitement, with nightly performances from alternative bands, Poetry Slams or the Red Octupus Theater.

Pizza and Music: Vino's is one of the best local venues for rock music. Not only do they have excellent pizza, but they brew their own beer. How kewl is that.

My family and I (husband and 2 teenagers)ate Vino's tonight for the first time...I was a bit disappointed...decent atomosphere...as someone wrote-"you'll see all walks of life" there...staff friendly enough...beer not quite cold enough for my taste...pizza was okay (we had the loaded version and Margherita (sp?))...decently priced for 2 pizzas & pitcher of beer...decent portions...but probably not worth the 40 minute drive for a return trip for me but worth the one time visit...re: music, we arrived early on a Thursday & the band was just arriving as we left so we didn't get to hear live music. Although none of us ordered a salad-- what I saw going out looked FANTASTIC! For us, Shotgun Dan's still rules the za domain.

Not what it use to be...: Back in a day, Vino's rocked out. Now it's gotten to political, and the place hasn't got the spark it use to. Still fun to go to, still good bands, but would almost rather go to Juanitas....

The Calzones, Salads, Sandwhiches, and Pizza are incredible!!!!!! I'd give the food 4 stars and the microbrew beer a half star. The staff are surly but a great group of people. Fix the G D beer..... Please! The tap situation sucks. I have had microbrew beer all over the US and Vino's dissappoints.. First of all the Vino's beers taste terrible and half the time they are very flat. The domestic and import keg beers are good but sometimes they go flat as well. Is there any quality control? If it sucks bite the bullet and trash it. The staff laughs at the beer but drink it because it is cheap. It costs the same to make bad beer as it does good. I live downtown and there is nothing I'd like better than a great local microbrew. PLEASE GOD FIX YOUR G D BEEEEER!!!!!!!!!!!!

The food is spectacular! The service, however, is not. You basically have to go to them and ask for refills, etc. And good luck with the rude woman that's typically at the front counter. She doesn't really say one word to you and looks annoyed that you're in the place.

Whoo Hoo!: If you looking for some good pizza and calzones this place has them, and check out some of Little Rocks local bands here too. Can get a little crowed at times, but that must mean it's good...right?

Decent Pizza, just not my thing: Went here with a date once after a climb. I can appreciate the point of the place--not to mention their pizza--but loud music and way too much alcohol is just not my thing. If it is yours, then salud!

Vino's.: The food is great, although it may not look like it from the start. The music is awesome as well.

Go for the bands!: This is a great place to hear underground and local music. Particularly, one will hear great hard rock and heavy metal music but others on occasion also. They have magnificent pizza at a great price and all assortments of beer. They have also wine fand soft drinks for those who do not like the strong taste of beer. Everyone should come to Vino's at least once while in Little Rock!

Great beer, great pizza, great staff, great bar. Also enjoy the "no beer sold on Sundays" loophole. Just head to Vino's and get yourself a growler!! Haven't been there for music yet, but definitely look forward to it.

The pizza is great but the calzone is straight out of New York. Nowhere in Arkansas can you get the Calzone selection and exlcellent taste as Vino's Also Henry (THE OWNER) runs this unique Little Rock landmark the way a pizzeria should be run. P.S. try buying just the pizza dough and make your own at home ...

Real Calzone: When my Italian-American friends want the real Calzone, we go here. No Heights/Hillcrest phony coffee-house claims to good food. It's worth the trip downtown, just park across the street. 'Nuff said.

Classic Downtown Staple: Vino's has always had some of the best pizza downtown little rock has to offer. The place has a very "alternative" ambiance, that may be intimidating to those who like the plastic, prefab world of chain restruants. The flaire at Vino's is usually body piercings and tatoos. Vinos also has a tremendous selection of beers and their own brewery. Try the sampler. They have live rock shows most weekends and other live shows (e.g. poetry slams) during weeknights, so it can be loud. If you're looking for great food and a really cool atmosphere with a friendly staff, Vino's is for you.

Vino's pizza is pretty tasty but the atmosphere is horrible. Everything is dirty dingy and uncared for. The staff act like they couldn't care less that you are there or not. The service is incredibly slow even though you usually get seated quickly. Me and my wife used to go there often when we were younger but now there are too many other good pizza options in LR to put up with this place.

Vino's is alot of what other reviewers have said. A dive a punk rock venue a headbanger's delight and a quiet place to unwind with a pint of the house brew. I have been frequenting Vino's for many years and will continue until they shut the doors. ( which I hope NEVER happens ). Its a place you can feel at home with the patrons as well as the staff. The food is top notch ( try the calzones my personal favorites ) the staff is almost always courteous and professional. I say almost only because we are all human and have our bad days too. The shows are wonderful and the varied selection of characters you'll see in there any given day is a tribute to the pub's true spirit of diversity in people. I highly recommend Vino's for both the food and the experience. Keep up the great work guys don't change a thing!
