These guys are amazing! They sponsored an event at California State University Long Beach called Up 'Til Dawn, which was an all night letter writing campaign to try to raise money for St. Judes Hospital, and I must say that the people working for LW Pizza were extremely friendly and socialble, the pizza was great, and the menu had a solid variety of foods at a great price! It helped that the pizza was really good as well. And they have a 28 inch pizza!!! I know as a college student I spend many late nights working on assigments, studying, and going out to various events, and I know I'll be calling up LW Pizza (who delivers until 3 AM!!!!!)

I would not recomend eating this pizza unless you were pranking one of your friends or trying to shorten up a party. I have eaten at LW Pizza three times and each time I woke up the next morning with a pain in my stomach. I wont go in detail how terrible I felt, but the pizza is so greasy there that it soaked threw the box and now there is a stain on my dining room table. I can't say anything about the customer service because it is top notch, but when it comes down to it, its all about the pie.

The dough tasted like it had been previously frozen the tomato sauce taste like it was out of the can with zero flavors and the cheese was chewy and tasted cheap... I love pizza and have never bought a pizza that I could not eat - this...

I would like to respond to the review on LW Pizza dated July 15th 2008. There was another pizza shop in this location called the pizza oven that went out of business in September 2008 due to poor reviews like the one on this site. LW Pizza came in and took over the location with a brand new menu and the goal to serve the best pizza at the fairest price in Long Beach on October 1st 2008 so this review is about a business that no longer exists. We deliver till 3am on Thursday Friday and Saturdays. The poor review was not about LW but the Pizza Oven that is now gone. I have asked Citysearch to remove this from my profile but they refused because I bought the old businesses phone number.
