The pizza is the best in the area. Their pizza is the ONLY alternative to the big chains. The service is fantastic. They have an enlarged image of the menu - AND pictures of the menu items - displayed prominently in their window. You WILL find Gambino's. No excuses.

Delicious food!!! the calzones are the best i have ever had!! highly recommend it!

You know people always ask me,"Whats your favorite combo"?. So i then imagine the #2 plate which consist off salad,rice, hummus,pita bread,jalapeno and three chicken skewers with a container of teriyaki sauce. What i like to do with this one is slide one chunky chicken piece to the end of my bamboo stick and dip it into the teriyaki sauce. Then i dabble into the rest and it just goes good together. Another plate that comes to mind is the #13 plate.BBQ chicken which also comes with a side container of BBQ sauce, and i do the same with this one as the #2 plate.OK those are two of my favorite, however i've just about had all that they have to offer and it's all good food for a good price. Cant forget about that Pizza!!!One of a kind, fresh dough,fresh ingredients thin crust,(A plus) Tasty,cheesy and bursting with flavor. i loved my eating experience in a friendly clean environment. Oh and they do have an "A" Grade plastered on the window. Check it out!!!!!!!!

i love the food and ice cream here specially the Pizza, Great Prices, Friendly staff and easy to find parking i recomend trying the normal cheese pizza then trying the themed ones one by one they all taste great they really use good ingridients and they seem to take great pride in the food they serve i dont blame them i strongly recomend this i first walked in about a week after it opened since then i havent gone too long without ordering or going to pick up some pizza they will be a LA landmark someday i bet

HORRIBLE, HORRIBLE, HORRIBLE service from the owner's wife!!! I am a teacher at a neighborhood school and several of my colleagues and I have been ordering from Gambino's for several years. The last few times, our orders have been incorrect and late on the deliveries, but we have overlooked those times. Today was absolutely the worst service I have ever received from a restaurant! I called an order in at 10:45 am for two pizzas to be delivered at 12:00. At 12:10, the food was not there so I called. The woman (who turned out to be the owner's wife) said that the guy should be to my school at any moment and she would also call the driver to see where he was. The driver then called me to get directions. At 12:20, I called again to tell the woman that her driver was still not there and asked if I could pay half of the amount due. She said that it would be fine to not pay at all. I was very happy with that service. She said she would call her driver again. At 12:30, the driver arrived. He gave me the pizzas, I said thank you and went on my way back into the school. Now the other teachers and I had less than half of our lunch time left. The woman called me and asked if I had received the pizzas, which I again thought was great customer service. SHE THEN CONTINUED AND ASKED WHY I HADN'T TIPPED HER DRIVER. I THEN EXPLAINED TO HER, AS MY COLLEAGUES AND I WERE OPENING THE PIZZA BOXES THAT THE PIZZAS WERE ALL SMASHED INTO ONE CORNER OF THE BOX. IT WAS AS IF THE DRIVER HAD BEEN RACING AROUND AND THE PIZZAS WERE SLIDING ALL OVER THE PLACE. IT LOOKED LIKE THE PIZZAS HAD BEEN THROWN IN THE TRASH CAN AND THEN PULLED OUT AND PUT IN THE BOXES. SHE, THE OWNER'S WIFE, PROCEEDED TO TELL ME TO NEVER CALL BACK AND ORDER FROM THEM AGAIN! ARE YOU KIDDING ME????? HER DRIVER WAS LATE, HER DRIVER SMASHED THE PIZZAS AND WHEN I TOLD HER ABOUT IT, SHE TELLS ME TO NEVER CALL AGAIN??? I am absolutely shocked that an owner would treat repeat customers this way over two pizzas! I offered to take in or email photos of how the pizzas were delivered and she refused saying that she didn't need to see them. My colleagues and I will NEVER go back and give that woman our money! She made a huge mistake! There were eight of us eating those pizzas today and we work at 5 different neighborhood schools. Guaranteed, we will all be telling our other friends and colleagues how horrible the service was that we that received from the owner's wife at Gambino's and we will never eat there again! I called tonight to speak to the owner and that woman answered the phone. When I asked for the owner, she said that she was the owner's wife. When I questioned her about how she treated me this afternoon, she said that I should have tipped her driver because that's the only money he makes. She just admitted that she doesn't even pay her driver and the only money he makes is from delivering their orders! WOW, what a horrible establishment to not pay their workers! Isn't that against the law? I wonder if they're even claiming him on their taxes as an employee? Maybe they're paying him under the table. Maybe I should report them! I wish this site allowed photos to be posted! I would show all of you their level of service in what they deliver. According to another post, the owner's name is Sandra. The food is off-dahook. The kabob plates are huge and inexpensive. The pizza is NY style $1.50 a slice. Clean place. Friendly service. TV on the wall. If you live in the area they also deliver. there is a delivery charge involved but prices are way cheaper then big chains. Check it out you'll be a regular after the first visit.

AWESOME!! buck fifty for a cheese slice, and a buck seventy five for pepperoni. Nice staff, always greets you like family. I think I'm heading over there now!

I love Gambino's pizza! It's the only pizza I've found in the area that tastes like real New York pizza. I've ordered the veggie at least twice a month since I moved into the neighborhood a year ago. The staff is super friendly and nine out of ten times as soon as I call to place my order they know who I am and how I like my pizza! That kind of service, and of course the quality of the food, is why I keep going back.

If you haven't been here yet, you have been cheating yourself. They have great food. Pizza, and grilled shish kabobs i dont know who paired up those iteams, but who cares. Low prices, good food. try # 5. shrimp chicken salmon, and beef, with all kind of trimmings on the plate, for like $8.00. For that price youll get a bag of grease in a burger joint.

Great inexpensive gourmet food!!: The first time I went to this restaurant I was very skeptical. The previous two owners sold Mexican food. My wife and I would just go there because the restaurant was close to our home, not because the food was great. Under the new management the restaurant had been totally changed. We decided to try the new food, and boy! It was the best food we had tried in any restaurant in the neighborhood. They sell delicious gourmet food ranging from pizza to full dinners which include Rice, salad, hummus, and the main course, which can vary (chicken, fish, Salmon, beef, etc.). Their ice cream is to die for. They also offer delivery service. If you try them, you will not be disappointed.

BEST PIZZA IN TOWN! hands down just had the pancho villa pizza it had so much flavor chorizo jalapenos red onion couldnt ask for any more great flavors all in 1 pizza! A GREAT PLACE TO EAT YUM!!
