Addictingly freshelness: This place is always busy and the quality of the food is why. EVERYTHING is hand made to order down to the salads. The place moves fast, the staff has achieved a perfect balance of good service/food/price. Parking and traffic in the immediate area can sometime be a hassle, but that just adds to the NY flava!!

The Best Pizza in LA, HANDS DOWN: This place is the quintessential "hole in the wall" joint, where you can eat a slice while standing up at the counter, and only about four people can stand around comfortably. But the staff is friendly as heck, and the food is worth any wait you endure (which almost never happens, btw). The pizza is spectacularly good, handmade down to the sauce, which is rich with garlic and herbs. The crust is PERFECT - chewy, not too thin, and flavorful. Even people who don't eat the crust eat every single morsel of this amazing pie. Their other entrees are also top notch - particularly their calzones, their chicken parmigiana, and the lasagna. The only down side to this place is that it's cash only, but you can grab some dough from the ATM at Bob's Market next door. I used to live around the corner from this place and we'd eat there once a week. Now I live in Inglewood, and my wife sends me over the hill to get this pie for her every once in a while, because nothing else compares to it. If you've spent most of your life eating tastless, greasy, lifeless chain pizza like Papa John's and Pizza Hut, you owe it to your tastebuds to head to the Coop. No other pizza in LA can compare, and those expat New Yawkers yearning for something that tastes like home - head to the Coop.

DEEE - LISH Deep Dish: This place is greeat pizza. The woman who's always helping me calls me sweetheart and is always super nice no matter how busy they are. They've got the best deep dish. be ready with cash because they don't take credit cards.

Best in the west: It can get pretty busy so give yourself some time. There isn't a pizza place like this on the West Side. Highly recommend it!

This Place has the best pizza. You usually have to wait for a long time and I just don't understand why it takes 4 hours for a deep dish, but i can guarrantee you its all worth it!!!

Was hungry was nearby decided to give it a shot. Old unappetizing goopy pizza. Try Mama's Original around the corner. Way better. And I lived in NY for 23 years and this is nowhere near good NY pizza. Period.

After eating pizza from las Vegas to San Diego and in between we have to say that the pizza over at the Coop is the best tasting. Its in their sauce and that special tasting pizza dough crust we just love it Any time we have guest over to visit and they want to have pizza we always order the Coop.
