This place is outstanding: I eat here probably once a week. If you like Italian food, Luigi's is a must visit for you.

I started eating here when it first opened. Every Sat or Sun I had to have Luigi's pizza. I was so sad when I had to move to Okinawa for work. The best pizza I ever had was here and in Italy. When I'm in New York I have to have pizza, but now living in Chicago, I have not found a pizza joint that I love as much as Luigi's. I couldn't believe Luigi remembered me when I returned 10 years later. "Long time no see . . . ". Whenever I'm in Louisville, KY I have to have Luigi's pizza. I also love the pastas and the sauces. It's the most authentic Italian food I have ever had.

Food is great and workers are friendly!

My grandparents took me here the other day before heading to the slugger museum. We were all very hungry so we decided pizza. When we entered the cashier was not very friendly. She got disgusted with us when we wanted to look at the menu. When we ordered she wasn't very pleasant getting angry at my grandma for asking for the dressing on the side for her salad. Then owner came out and was a little ride to us to. When the lady brought the pizza out she put it down on the table and stormed away without even an enjoy. The pizza was really disappointing not very good crust at all. I will never return to Luigis. Overall 2/10 for the atmosphere only

He offers a wide selection of pizzas with FRESH toppings and his own homemade sauce. He also has a delicious selection of pastas that are made fresh daily as well as salads and sandwiches. By far the best bet for lunch in downtown!!!
