Wicks is the only way to have pizza...the shelbyville road store is where its at!!!! Family friendly atmosphere and great service!!! We go there every weekend, we request the same server, which has the best attitude not to mention a Cards fan!!! He always brings our daughter a balloon and lets her play the Wii. She loves it and we do too!!! If you haven't tried it, you definately need too. Stop by Shelbyville Rd, you wont regret it. If you want great service ask for the guy that a HUGE Cardinals fan, he goes above and beyond.

When we go out for pizza Wicks is the place we go: It's a nice place to go out and not go broke.

Decent place to drink, pizza not so good: I have heard that the sandwiches are great there, but haven't tried yet. Otherwise, we were not impressed with the cuisine. Cliftons and TOny Boombozz blow their pizza out of the water. Good atmosphere for hanging out...if you are under 25

High quality pizza: Sometimes service is a bit dicey, but you can not beat the quality of pizza and topping possibilities. You will have to pay for this quality, but I don't think the prices are vestly high for what you get. The ambiance is kind of how many tables and people can we cram into this area, but the Louisville themed mural brings up the score. Overall a must visit at some time.

LOVE IT!!!!: I love going to wick's just to hang out. I love the set up. family area on one side, and the bar on the other. I've been in both. And I love both. And they also got the best food EVER!! I like how they ain't stingy with thier toppings on the pizza. I was surprised. Cause most people hold out on ya. lol. you know what i'm saying.

Stick with Wick's: When you have the taste for pizza, don't waste time with the amateurs. Wick's has the best pizza in the Metro area. Pricey but well worth it!

Wow, what a disappointment my first and last visit to Wicks pizza was. I have recently moved to Louisville and Wicks heard great things about wick's food and service. So, when i had visitors from out of state come i took them to the restraunt on shelbyville and was sorely disappointed. The food was very good but was shadowed by the Poor service by both the bar staff and the hostesses. They were rude not only to our party but another party that waited over 60 minutes before they left. I will never recommend anyone to visit the Shelbyville restraunt. If you want good pizza call for delivery or pick up.

Great place to go relaxe: Wick makes no bones about it, they claim to be one of the best places to get a beer and a slice and maybe watch the game. Which is almost correct. Everything is set up so you can meet with friends and chat in the welcoming enviroment. It is a very casual resturant with very excellent pizza. While the service is not perfect it is quite good and everyone in the resturant is extremely nice. Plus they have a seperate bar area where you can shoot pool that feel like a whole different resturant. Also the pizzas are quite filling and large for not a whole lot

The Big Wick has only one competitor; the Mama Bearnos Special. I have had both numerous times and still have not decided which is best, both are 5 star pizza's.

WIck's Pizza on Bardstown: I used to live around the corner and went there often, & one of my kids used to work there, I have eaten a lot of Wicks! "The" best pizza in town. Sky high toppings, great crust....you owe it to yourself to check it out!

Pleasently suprized.: I had heard a mulitude of high marks for Wicks. So one afternoon a buddy and I strode in to grab some pizza in the bar. The stuff was AMAZING. I'd never had such good sausage pizza. If only the help was as good as the served food...

Never a dull moment!!!: As said...never a dull moment. I can't recall ever having a bad time with friends at Wick's. The crowd and the atmosphere there are great...especially during a rivalry game like UL/UK!!! Service is outstanding even during busy evenings. Wide variety of Italian food to fit almost anyones taste. Wide variety of drinks from the bar also. Only downfall is that they get packed quickly...especially the weekends!!!

By far the best Pizza in all of Louisivlle and Kentucky as well. The appetizers are awesome including the Stuffed Breadwick (almost like a small calzone with cheese and pepperoni and a side of marinara for dipping..yummmm!!!!), breadsticks, cheesebread, wings, etc... The sandwiches, pasta and salads are all just as good as the Pizza and if you can leave room for desert then make sure to try the Wicks Wheel, Cinna Star, Cheesecake or Cinna Sticks. I've had them all and they are all great. My family and I go out to eat there at least once a week and we go to the one on Shelbyville Road (Middletown). The service is awesome as well! The dining area is very kid friendly as well as the staff and the other side (the bar side) is usually hopping with a really cool band and lots of folks having a good time. If you are from out of town you have to make sure to go to Wicks and try the Pizza. My family is from the North East (NYC, NJ) and we know good pizza and Wicks is definitely good pizza. For the handful of folks that don't like it, they either have some sort of axe to grind or just don't have the taste buds for good food and think of Pizza Hut/Dominoes/Papa John's as good pizza (lol, yuck....I can't stand fast food pizza places). Go to Wicks, order food and have a good time and there's a good chance I'll see you there : )

Don't Do Delivery: The food is good, but if you're having it delivered - try else where. I have been told that the delivery time was 1-1 1/2 hours and not seen anyone for over 2 hours - unacceptable. Either hire more delivery people or stop offering it.

best pies in Louisville, but not best service: Want the best pizza in Louisville? Then look no further. However be prepared for an overworked staff at the Baxter Avenue location, an inexperienced serving crew at the Shelbyville Road location, and a not-too-clean and strangely laid out building at the Westport Road location. The most family friendly is the Shelbyville Road. The pies are consistently great at all locations!

My family and I just moved to upsate NY and one of the things I miss about Louisville is Wicks. We used to go there every other Saturday for the Big Wick. The Pizza joints here in Upstate NY don't even compare. Were coming for Oaks and Derby in a couple weeks and my first stop will be Wicks!

Wick's was ok. Not really worth it for the price. I like New York style pizza, i.e. thin crust. These are not that. Too much dough. And the salad was very underwhelming. A step above Papa John's, but not really worth the added money.

The Most Awesome Pizza in Louisville: To say Wick's is the best pizza in Louisville is understating the obvious. From a family dinner to a private night out, Wick's is perfect. Best pizza, cool atmosphere, friendly wait staff. What more could you ask for? Great value, of course. You get that too!!!!!!!!!

Best pizza in all of Kentucky and this is coming from someone who grew up in NYC so I know good pizza. I think my favorite of all 4 locations is the one in Middletown on Shelbyville Rd. as the service there is just unbelievable....especially on the weekends. If you like good food and good service then this is the place for you.

From the garden or chef salads (enough for two) to the pizzas all portions are huge; you almost always have leftovers. The pizza reheats so well it tastes just like it came fresh from the oven.

I love the BIG WICK pizza. It has the perfect amount of toppings that are finely chopped for maximum flavor per bite. The cheese sauce an crust complement the pizza perfectly.

I drove 120 miles to pick up a 'big wick' after the UL game last night. Pizza looked fine on top but the crust was like burnt toast underneath and sides. Didn't notice this till I got home. Called them and they only offered me a $5 credit on my next purchase. I'm sure they don't care about my 1 or 2 purchases a year but they will care when all my family and friends who live in Louisville will no longer patronize their business.

Not only is their pizza wonderful and my very favorite in all of Jefferson County KY but the inside of the restaurant is painted with a wonderful montage of local special events: derby balloon race Pegasus parade boat race etc. Gotta see it!
