They use too much garlic on their bread rolls. I tasted it for three days. But other than that the food is great.

I must be a garlic freak because I always make sure I order EXTRA garlic enough left over for whatever dish I order.. I usually order the lasagna but have my white clam sauce favorite pasta too.. and the antipasto is always great.. highly recommended come after 4 because yes it does get crowded my only unresolved issue is the parking not to blame the employees but the crowd.. please its small enough to get in but don't take 2 spots!!!!

Good food+Cheap price=Love: I love the food. One of the newest seafood appetizers are to die for. I remember when I was last there it was my family and myself. We ordered the said seafood plate, when it came it was eaten down to the very sauce it sat upon, between me and my father. I will definitely be returning sometime in the near future.

I've had alot better. Just because everyone in Miami goes there plus the UM football team, doesn't make it the best.

This place has good pizza. Altho they use tooo much cheese. Get it with light cheese and its great!

this is another good pizza/sub/italian food place. its a casual place, nothing fancy/out of this world but decent. its also a common place for many UM students.

Best Pizza in Miami: This was the best pizza place I came across in Miami, and the pasta wasn't half bad either. My wife Edith swears by the salads, we'll be coming back.

Awesome Food: The food is great and so are the potion sizes; they have a wide selection of good food (warning: watch out - they love garlic). Excellent for hungry college students.

The best ceasar salad EVER....: The Big Cheese has the best ceasar salad I have ever tasted -- bar none. The pizza is excellent, the garlic knots are overwhelmingly good, and the subs are incredible. This is my all-time favorite cheap restaurant (under $15 per person), and not just because it is decorated wall-to-wall in University of Miami memorabilia. It also happens to be located across from the best ice cream parlor in Miami -- Wall's Ice Cream. Be sure to go to both the next time you are in town You will not be disappointed.

Get the Caesar!: Don't make the mistake I made my first visit - ordered a Caesar and 2 slices pizza. Coulda fed 3 people! A half-Caesar is plenty, they even sell 1/4 Caesars (like a side salad). It is the best salad anywhere at any price. Other food is 8 out of 10, pretty good for a casual near-fast-food restaurant. Try to eat early or VERY late, especially on weekends, it's crowded for good reason. Garlic rolls are strong, sprinkle on the cheese and dig in!

Great Pizza and Salad: Best Ceasar ever. Love the Ceaser with Oysters. Pizza very good also. Price is quite reasonable. Friendly family oriented casual dining. Love this place.

Never seated: Heard a lot about this place. Waited 35 minutes and then noticed that others seated before my party. When we asked the hostess she was hostile and overall was a horrible experience. We felt discriminated against. I do not recommend going there.

At first, Big Cheese seems like a great southern Italian find. But once you start going there a few times, you find out that the pizza doughs are all pre-cooked, and the sauce is extremely salty. I have told them this many times but they don't do anything to reduce the saltiness in their food.

Key lime Pie to die for!!!!!: We were staying at a local hotel and they delivered right to the hotel. Let me say about the size of meals, well you wont go hungry. The food is great AND very HOT when delivered! I ordered their Key Lime Pie. MmmmMMMmmmMMMM is the first I can say, second, I wish I had more!! Order the Key Lime Pie!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! =) =)

The best waiter in town: I loved it, the food is excellent. I have gone to many restaurants in my life and the truth is there are many good ones but the service we got was great! Our waiter was Ricardo, he knew exactly what we wanted, he makes you feel like you are at home, We always ask, for him not to say that the others are not as good, they are all a team. Gone here while on vacation-with some friends. It has a large dinner room. They have many toppings to choose from. We had the Miami pie with sweet ham creamy ricotta cheese & pineapples that was topped with cinnamon. It was really good.

Great family neighborhood Itialian resturant and pizza parlor rolled into one. Always casual and good. But get there early always very busy but you can also take out.

Just ask the crowds waiting outside. In addition to great pizzas the Big Cheese also has fantastic calzones subs and traditional Italian specialties (i.e. lasagna eggplant parmigiana etc.) The garlic rolls are pretty good as well.
