Excellent!: Punch serves terrific thin-crust Neapolitan-style pizza and fresh salads in an informal atmosphere. It's not particularly cheap, but well worth the price.

Makes me nostalgic for Italia: As authentic as you can get in the States while appealing to everyone. The food was excellent, and for $10 I was totally satisfied. The pizza also comes out in about 90 seconds, so there is hardly a wait. My boyfriend however, said he definitiely needed two pizzas and didn't want to pay $20 for them. I thought that it was a very reasonable statement, so this is a warning out there for people with big appetites-- you might end up paying for more than you wanted to.

Fantastic: I'll be straight forward, if you like pizza hut or dominos then you most likely wont like punch. However if you're up for trying something new or if you want to taste the authentic pizza then go to PUNCH, it is fantastic, the crust, the fresh toppings and ingredients are superb. Its the best you can get outside of Italy itself.

Like eating a Pizza in Italy, maybe better.: Great Piizza's, worth the trip and wait.. The different blend of toppings come together to make a delightful gourmet experience. Buffalo mozzarella is a must.

Punch is okay: I went there with family and it was good but I wasn't too impressed with the pizza. It was by no means bad, but I've had better.

Best Pizza in Minneapolis: Punch is the best pizza in Minneapolis if you want a true Neapolitan pizza. You will find more of a scene at Pizza Luce, especially in downtown, but sitting under heat lamps like their slices are, quality is going to have to be sacrificed. Punch in Uptown is the other side of Calhoun from any scene, but the food is the better for it. From the simple Margherita to any of the complex orders you can imagine, the light and crispy crusts from the brick oven are worth the price alone.

Authentic european pizzeria: I've lived in Europe, and this is this the way pizza is supposed to be made and served! Order it un-cut and eat it with a fork and knife like all of the other civilized europeans! This place is the Chipotle of pizzerias, fresh ingredients, quick, modern, bare-bones retaurant. Bravo!

Honestly, having eaten pizza all over the world, including it's home in Italy, I can safely say that Punch provides an authentic, delicious example of what Old World style pizza is like. They do not skimp on the toppings, and are willing to accomodate almost any diet (I happen to be mildly lactose-intolerant). The pizzas are thina nd crispy, and if you are like me and like a little char on the bottom, they will happily do that, too! Not much on the ambiance, but with food that good, and (at least in the Saint Paul location, which uses servers and not stand-up ordering) service that good, you won't really care anyway!

Great tasting personal pizzaz made in brick oven in front of you. The prices are high though. They have a a few tasty beers on tap, which is nice. They also have wine too.

Punch is the reason I have no money!: Punch is the kind of place where one visit is all it takes to hook you. I've taken people there for their first time it's hardly a week later they're asking if I want to go back again. The wood-fired Neopolitan style pizzas are delicious and topped with an eclectic variety of ingredients including arugala, prosciutto, goat cheese or gorgonzola cheese. The wood oven burns at about 800 degrees and gives the crust a nice crisp. Their salads are also excellent and the wine list is passable. Trust me, no one goes there for the wine or the salads. The pizza is where it's at. With over 15 pre-made pizza combinations and thousands of customized possibilities, there is something there for everyone. Punch is one of only a handful of authentic Neopolitan pizzarias outside of Italy and the quality of the food is on par with what you'd expect, excellent quality. The service is quick, your food is in front of you about 5 minutes after you order. The atmosphere is comfortable with wooden booths and chairs to sit on and bright colors and murals decorating the walls, you almost feel a little cultured eating there. While not cheap, it is certainly worth exploring. Try it once and you'll find it as irrisistible as everyone I know does!

Great Pizza! Great Value!: The ingredients are fresh, as are the combinations on the pizzas and the salads. The menu is simple, and the food is served very quickly. I love the wonderful crust, and the flatbread is so good, it is easy to overeat on that before your pizza comes!

Excellent - with rewards!: Best pizza ever with a delicious crust - and they have punch cards too...you get one free after every 5 or 6 you buy. I've probably redeemed 10 free pizzas by now!

Wow.: The food was fresh, well-made and delicious. I'm not even kidding. It's not your typical pizza, but after Punch, you won't want typical pizza again.

Not worth the hoops...: Great, authentic food...but why not post a menu online? If you are not in the store, the only way to get a menu is to have them fax it to you...no website, no email, nothing but fax!?!? For all the hype, it is very strange that Punch would overlook something as simple as helping people figure out what they want to order. The food is great, but the experience just in NOT worth it.

Authentic Pizza !: This is what pizza should be: brick oven, wood fired, only real mozzarella (buffalo milk if required), san marzano tomatoes, extra virgin olive oil, fresh basil...and nothing more! The small restaurant at the St. Paul location provides full service.

Best in the Cities: Punch offers original certified Neopolitian pizza from Italy. The sauce and wood oven baked pizza are outstanding. While Broder's used to be our favorite Punch is a refresing delight!

I have been enjoying Punch Pizza for years! Delicious fast and a great authentic atmosphere. I think my favorite location is still the original in Highland Park but the new Stadium Village restaurant is a close second.

The small size is served with two pieces of their amazing focaccia bread; the large is served with four. Then we each get our own pizza. My favorite is the Margherita (minus cheese again) with mushrooms onions and roasted eggplant. I...
