Anna's Pizza #2-Central Newport News: Pizza Hut, Papa John, Dominos, Little Ceasar, NONE of them hold a candle to this place. A good pizza can stand on it's own, and doesn't need a bunch of sides and gimmicks to boost it's value. Anna's is the classic Mom&Pop neighborhood italian eatery. It is NOT fancy. We're not talking North End Boston good. But hey, for quite reasonable prices, you can get your favorite italian american staple dishes: Baked ziti, manicotti, lasagna (rolling my eyes), spaghetti and meatballs, and of course PIZZA. Even white pizza is available. And you can get it fresh and hot. Take out or eat in. Are there fancier, prettier, more familiar, pricier places around? Yup. But nowhere else will you get the freindly atmosphere, great service, or bang for your buck than at this restaurant. I highly recommend it, especially if you're tired of fighting the crowds at the big chain restaurants in the Patrick Henry and Coliseum areas. I'd definitely recommend Anna's if you're looking for someplace new to try.

Rude: Rude order taker on telephone, after placing order she informs me that they do not take credit cards as the listing here on yahoo states. I offered a check, and they "do not accept checks from apartments". First and last experience. No problem about the payment, just the way it was handled.

Your standard pizza joint: A friend and I have been going to Anna's at least once a week for about three years now. We go every week after working out together and are known as "the olive girls." It's also a great place for the family. In fact, we've learned we can call ahead and our order will be ready and waiting when we get there -- a huge plus when you're feeding two 4-year-olds.

Love Anna's Pizza, try their Linguini and clams with white sauce! Yum! Their pizza's are the best in the area too, and if I don't want to spend as much I go to Litttle Jimmy's Pizza for similar quality food for a decent price.

I actually like this place a lot. I do like to go to private owned places sometimes ...you'll be surprised sometimes it's better than the franchises. The staff is very friendly. It's never overly crowded. To me, the subs and the pizza is the best... the other items on the menu is blah. Well worth the money as well.......not expensive at all....

My family is welcomed here with open arms!!: I always expect that when I walk in with six children, the servers will run and the management will cry! BUT NOT HERE! These great folks saw us coming, opened the door and told me how great it is to have a big family! This restaurant has such wonderful food and huge portions and low prices...it is the BEST family place around. It looks like an old Italian corner restaurant and honestly, I expect Tony Soprano to walk in any moment and plop down next to me and start nibbling off my plate! We LOVE LOVE LOVE this place!

Anna's on Warwick Blvd in the Hilton area of the city is Wonderful! I go there for lunch mostly but have also been there for dinner. I love the salad, bread and fries. The whole staff is friendly and it is a very inviting place.

Always great food!: I've been dining at Anna's Pizza for over ten years. Their food is always delicious and the atmosphere is like one big family. It's like stepping into a real New York pizza joint! Anna's Pizza #2 is my kind of pizza place!

Been going to Anna's on Warwick and off since the 70's (moving away and coming back and forth). It is the kind of place you never want to do without once you've had it. It is good basic Italian food, and I live nearby. They aren't perfect all the time, and i don't love their basic salad, but their pizza stands on its own, the subs are great, and you can go in there after you've worked in the yard half the day. You can go if you want pizza by the slice quick, or you want to sit for awhile with friends and family. The subs are excellent and there's no place more comfortable and homey. You just walk in and sit down if you aren't getting stuff to go. The waitresses are almost always wonderful, and it feels like home.

I love italians: A real pizza joint run by real italians. It doesnt get much better than that. They don't just serve pizza, about any italian dish you can think of comes out of there kitchen. It's a great place to dine in, or get a fast hot delivery from. They know what they are doing, and they like pleasing the customer. they absolutely do accept creditcards!want a great meal, from great people, eat at Anna's!

The white pizza and calzone are some of the best in Hampton Roads. The rest of the menu is merely meh.

Many think this is as good as it gets here. Start with the dough then how real are the extras.

My family enjoy eating from Anna's! The kids love their cheese pizza better than the pizza from Papa Johns or Domino's. My husband and I enjoy eating from their dinner menu. We are always satisfied with their food. The restaurant itself is very kid friendly. Something hard to come by these days!
