Armed Robber Held Down in Ledo’s Pizza

The employees of Ledo’s Pizza have proven the public that pizza isn’t the only good thing in their establishment.

On Sunday, a 53-year old armed robber has been ceased by the employees and had been held down until law enforcement arrived.

According to reports, a broom was the only weapon the employees had on their hands. One of the employees hit the suspect on the head and as he was knocked down on the ground, the other employees managed to keep him there until arrested.

The suspect was named Jamie J. Shimon, who apparently already had 28 arrests and 17 convictions, including 5 robberies. This persistent robber was said to have entered the establishment at around 12:05 a.m. with a BB gun on hand. Although his demand for cash failed, receiving injuries instead.

Shimon was given another record on Monday as felony armed robbery as his charge.
