Bella Pizza’s Marketing Efforts

Businesses need to focus on marketing to make its business grow. However, to really stand-out, it is better to think outside of the box than do what your competitors are doing.

This has been the guiding principle for the Bella Pizza’s owner, Akhtar Farzaie. “I always like to think outside the box,” he said.

The seven year old pizzeria uses social media to hilt in marketing themselves to their customers and those who liked their Facebook fan page. As an example of their marketing efforts, Bella Pizza made sure that everyone knew that they were the Hillsborough Patch’s Reader’s Choice poll winner for best Italian restaurant using Facebook.

It is a good thing that Farzaie has innovative guys to him out in creating the Facebook fan page.

The restaurant also supports other causes that help it to be promoted to the public. Among the efforts that they joined was the assistance they gave for the coat drive, which helped them in getting the attention of media outlets.

Farzaie also wears t-shirt to market his business; which was also featured in a publication, Hillsborough Beacon.

In such a short period of time, Bella Pizza has been a well known place and has been competing well with the other pizzerias that have been operating for decades.

But to sure, Farzaie maintains the quality and taste of his food – they only use the freshest of ingredients and pizzas and sauces are made from scratch. This, he said, is what keeps customers coming back.

Farzaie believes in product and his success, “We basically have done everything from scratch. We’ve been through seven years and so far, we’re going strong.”
