Do Pizza Restaurant Charge Delivery for Less tips?

The question between delivery charges and tips is one minor detail that affects so many things in a domino effect.

Stereotypes came in the conclusion that all those delivery charges (then one you can find in the receipt) are the ones collected and divided among the employees. Due to this belief, people tend to tip less.

The truth of the matter here is that these delivery fees aren't dedicated much for the employees. These tips rarely even go into the pockets of the employees and such charges are only for the pizza joint.

Various extra costs add up to the expense of the restaurant to make this delivery happen, that is why the delivery fee is added. These costs include insurance, materials, hot bags, car toppers and in some pizza joints, the fee covers the wage of the drivers.

Sadly though, this is not considered and many tip them.less than those usual servers in the restaurant.

So with this knowledge passed on to you now, how much would you be willing to tip your pizza guy now?
