Domino’s is Ready for March Madness

This week Domino’s is giving basketball fans an extra reason to get excited for March Madness. They are offering 50 percent off all of their menu-priced pizza orders if they are placed online. The offer runs through March 23rd.

Chris Brandon, spokesperson for Domino’s said “We’re looking forward to letting our customers enjoy any combination of pizza at half off as they cheer on their teams. With the convenience of our digital ordering channels, no one will have to miss a second of the games when they order online.”

The NCAA tournament time is typically very busy for Domino’s. It gets even busier towards the end of the tournament.

Some fun facts about Domino’s and basketball: It takes 69 Domino’s Pizza boxes stacked on top of each other to reach the hoop. During the 2013 college basketball tournament, the amount of dough produced by Domino’s would match the weight of over 16.2 million basketballs.

Domino’s was founded in 1960 and is recognized as a world leader in pizza delivery. Their ordering apps cover almost 95% of the smartphone market in the United States.
