Employment Opportunities Await the City of Stirling

The city of Stirling would be adding employment opportunities as restaurant chain PizzaExpress opens at Thistles shopping mall in late October.

The pizza chain would be a welcome addition to the mall’s rising number of business establishments such as Topman and Topshop which recently reopened last July after major renovations were done to the stores that now has a contemporary design. Another store also made a face lift of its location and added new offerings of Originals, Core, Vintage and Premium ranges in Jack & Jones.

PizzaExpress has openings for 30 positions for its store that has a capacity to sit 120 customers. Positions such as pizza makers and waiting staffs are highly available for job seekers.

Thistles’ manager Colin Moulson marveled the centre’s improvements in order to attract more customers as the Christmas season is fast approaching. The addition of PizzaExpress would draw positive response not only to the centre but also to the city’s economy.

That boost is just what Councilor Neil Benny is expecting. The economy committee convener at Sterling Council expressed his sentiments on the city’s progression in the long run. He stated the city’s perfect business setting with a great transport systems and prime locations to choose from.

The city’s unemployment rate of 3.4% is a slight increase from its June figures but unlike its February numbers, it’s a significant drop basing the rate from claims of Job seeker’s Allowance. The latest business establishment in PizzaExpress heightens positive for the city’s long term economic progression.
