Fireside Pizza Open in Walnut Hills

Fireside Pizza is the newest restaurant in Walnut Hills. It occupies what was previously the home of the oldest fire station in Cincinnati.

Mike Marschman’s Fireside Pizza was previously a mobile oven. Now it is part of a push to help renovate the neighborhood in what is hoped to be the newest entertainment district in the city of Cincinnati.

The previous wood-burning oven was pulled around on a trailer. Now they have a larger oven for their new location. They’ll be offering their margherite pizza, which is one of their most popular. They’ve also got a white pizza offering that includes garlic & cheese with a basil pesto. Fireside Pizza also offers salads. They don’t plan on offering dessert, but they will invite dessert food trucks to bring their desserts to their location to sell their goods.

Firesides hours are 11am to 11pm each day. Free parking is available in the Walnut Hills public lot. Although they’ve had a soft opening and are open now, their grand opening event is being held on September 27th.
