Football Season Hits Pizza Hut

Pizza Hut is very well known to greet every season through their promos, packages, food sets and pizza flavors. Often they do this during holidays but this time around, they made sure they hit the football lovers market as they released a new promo: The Big Dinner Box. For only $19.99, this large set is already filled with two medium rectangular one-topping pan pizzas, five breadsticks and one more optional dish, which can either be a four stuffed pizza rollers, or a pan of Tuscani pasta or eight wings.

An additional perk is also added over those online Big Dinner Box customers, giving them a free 2-liter Pepsi! To keep the fans interested, Pizza Hut made sure that the endorser involved is part of the football craze, recruiting MVP Aaron Rodgers.

“At Pizza Hut we believe that every experience deserves to be great,” said Kurt Kane, Pizza Hut CMO. “That is why we created the Big Dinner Box which helps turn watching a football game into a really delicious and memorable experience. There is no player out there who represents going for great better than Aaron Rodgers, so when we heard he was a fan of Pizza Hut we just knew we had to partner up!”

Rodgers started endorsing the product through television ads throughout the first full slate of pro football games and can also be viewed over YouTube.

“Partnering with a great brand like Pizza Hut was one of the most fun experiences I’ve ever had on an ad shoot,” said Rodgers. “I’m a big fan of the brand, and I know from experience how much better it is to watch football with a slice of Pizza Hut pizza in one hand.”

“If you’re looking at this big pizza box, it has everything you want in it,” added Rodgers. “There aren’t many things better than pizza and sports on TV.”
