Free Pizza Friday: Papa John's, Via Veneto and Destinos Pizza

Papa John's pizza is giving away free pizzas and $50 to those customers who received an unwanted advertisement text message. The promotional text was a violation of the Telephone Consumer Protection act, sent to over 200,000 people via autodialer. As a result, Papa John's agrees to pay a sum of $16.5 million and pizzas.

Destinos Pizza meanwhile will be holding a grand celebration on June 22. This pizzeria found at 2042 West County Line Road will be giving away free pizza, pastas and drinks and provide musical entertainment and a bouncy house from 4 in the afternoon. Part of the funds to be raised in the festivity will be given to the 2 year old grand daughter of Mayor Mike Reina, who currently has lukemia.

Via Veneto is also celebrating but their celebration is all about the customers as they treat everyone with a free slice of pizza and water ice on "Customer Appreciation day." On June 24, from 11 in the morning to 4 in the afternoon, everyone is welcome to come by Via Veneto Pizza & Family Restaurant's new place at DeKalb Plaza in East Norriton or at the old 1803 Markley Street spot.

“Customer Appreciation Day is our way of thanking our customers for their

loyal support during the move and over the years,” said manager Joe Stabile.
