Free Pizza Hut to Wichita State Students

The NCAA National Championship on April 8 is a much awaited event and students of Wichita State should keep their eyes open and their supports up as Pizza Hut gives our free pizza if the Shockers win the competition!

Mobile units shall roam around the campus for one whole day after the tournament and give out free pizza!

“We’re very proud of our heritage and history in Wichita, and when we see things coming out of the city and campus, we’re aware and proud to be a part of that,” said director of public relations for Pizza Hut, Doug Terfehr.

The reason for this special treatment is due to the origins of Pizza Hut. In 1958, Pizza Hut started in Wichita, moved to the WSU Campus in 1984.

Plenty of pizzas shall be prepared on that day, according to Terfehr, and Pizza Hut will be ready!

“It’s an exciting moment already, but it’s always better when there’s pizza around,” Terfehr added.

But don’t worry, Wichita students are not the only one who will benefit in the national championships. All other consumers gets the privilege to buy a one-topping pizza  at a low price of $9 and all you have to do is sign up for an e-mail program!
