Fried Pizzas are not new to New York City but now, Giulio Adriani introduces fried pizza in a bigger view. Opened La Montanara by Forcella in the east side, this restaurant is exclusively all-fried up, even the desserts!
The menu includes basic pies (where you can add toppings to) where dough are fried in sunflower oil then baked in brick oven, pizza sandwiches, fried rice balls potato croquettes, little fried noodles with ham and béchamel sauce and mouth watering fried Nutella pizza desserts. For budget eaters, there’s a good deal you can get for $11, which not only gives you a Montanara pizza but also includes an appetizer and a dessert!
