La Famiglia, a chain pizza joint on 50th and Broadway in downtown Manhattan, most recently saw a bit of publicity in the form of Donald “The Hair” Trump and Sarah Palin enjoying a slice of pizza.
Is a goat more interesting than Donald Trump and Sarah Palin? If you ask some of the customers who were at La Famiglia on March 7, the answer would probably be no.
A goat was apparently jonesin’ for a slice when it walked into the popular pizza joint, propped its two front hooves up on the table, and noshed on a slice. While this is interesting on the face of it, what’s more interesting is the fact that almost no one in the restaurant reacted.

Maybe the goat had yet to be noticed by everyone when the picture was taken and subsequently posted to Twitter with the caption “saw a goat eating pizza at La Famiglia on 50th & B'way.”
The restaurant was contacted, but a representative stated that he or she had no knowledge of the goat, responding with an emphatic “No!”
I’ve heard of people bringing their dogs into restaurants, but the presence of a goat is certainly new. It’s not like the restaurant is located in rural Kansas.
