Higher Ranking For Little Caesars, Now in No.3

The pizza chain called Little Caesars reportedly declared a $2.9B in sales which was just been released last week.

Nation's Restaurant News indicated that the said pizza chain is now at No.3, making it larger than Papa John's Pizza in terms of growth of sales and expansion. The 2011 and 2010 data has been corrected as Little Caesar declares its sales. 

Mike and Marian Ilitch has always been discrete about their financial status with regards to Little Caesars but CEO Dave Scrivano stated that the Ilitch family and the executives could have been frustrated about the reports prior to the revised NRN report. 

According to the revised report of NRN, Papa John's has only attained $2.4 Billion, whereas Little Caesar is bigger by 20%, obtaining $2.9 Billion in sales. Papa John's and Little Caesars also has 3,131 stores and 3,673 stores respectively. Little Caesars has grown over 444 additional shops within 2 years. 

“Yes there was a substantial revision of our Little Caesars numbers for Top 100,” NRN Managing Director Alan Liddle said in an email to Freep as he explains that the data lacked.
