Kate Middleton Sculpted on Pizza

A pizzeria took the courage to make history by carving in the face of Kate Middleton on pizza.

This Bella Napoli restaurant is found in Shawlands took the pizza sculpting in a different level as they make it look as real as possible (see photo below).

Domenico Crolla has given the pizza so much effort and used his award-winning eaterie skills to the test.

The main ingredient was cheese of course but it took a lot of patience to make it as realistic as possible with two hours of carefully placing tomato sauce and cheese on every detail.

The cause of the owner’s decision to make this portrait over a pizza is because of his disappointment to Paul Emsley’s painting.

"I wasn't a fan of the official portrait of Kate, I thought it was awful. I saw the picture and thought I could do a bit better in a pizza. I think mine is a little more flattering, and at least you can eat it afterwards." The owner said.

Up next in his unique creations is Prince William and people are already expecting this master piece by summer.

Although this is as flattering as it sounds, the pizza portrait has already been done during their April wedding by Papa John’s pizza but it was not only filled with tomato sauce and cheese, it was also filled with mushrooms on Kate Middleton’s veil and William had Salami and peppers all over his suit.

Talk about pizza dedicated to art, this is one fine piece!
