Pizza Vinoteca is located just off Union Square in New York City. It opened in March and has a unique high-tech approach to the pizza market including iPads and a system that can let you know just how long your wait should be.
“There are three aspects to our restaurant, as you can see by our name: pizza, wine, and technology,” said CEO Ari Malcolm. “We really try to take the technology and not only make it more useful for operations, but also have it be user-friendly for guests as possible.”
The food delivers with some interesting combinations. Guests can try a shrimp pizza topped with green zucchini and yellow squash. There is also a meatball pizza option that is served with kale pesto. Pizza Vinoteca uses an infrared grill that gives pizza a distinct crunch.
The entire restaurant experience offers a uniquely modern take on a very traditional dish.
