New Members for American Pizza Community

New members from New York and Pieology are welcomed by the American Pizza Community and is now recognized as part of the team. The coalition expands and taps brands from small to large enterprises nationwide. These vendors, suppliers, franchisees and brands are all about pizza and aims to bring together all companies into one separate industry - the pizza.

American Pizza Community started in 2010 when a group aims to answer the needs and the concerns of those in the pizza industry, specifically the policies. From labeling information, fair wages, tax credits, tax policies and other business concerns in pizza, the coalition answered.

The dedication of this group has allowed clarity to flow in the business by the steps it takes. For instance, the latest movement that the coalition made was a meeting with the congressional offices in Washington where in the organization explains the direct effects of policies to their business.

"Pieology is very excited to be part of APC and partnering with some of the best operators and leaders within the space to share ideas and support one another in sharing with everyone the food we all love," said Carl Chang, CEO of Pieology Pizzeria. "We feel blessed to be part of such a community and look forward to contributing to the efforts of APC in support of our beloved pizza industry."
