NFL Player Delivering Pizzas

J.J. Watt, player for the Houston Texans in the National Football League is getting into the pizza delivery business. He is working with Papa John’s to help earn funds for his charitable foundation.

During the 2014 season, on Tuesdays, any customer who places a delivery order with Papa John’s will get their pizza in a Watt-themed box. They also will be entered in a contest for the opportunity to win a pizza party where the pizzas are delivered by Watt himself.

“Every single Tuesday there will be a winner and they’ll get a phone call from me,” said Watt. “At some point – I’m a little busy during the season – but at some point you’re gonna have a pizza delivered by me. A little personal pizza party and it’s pretty cool to interact with fans that way.”

The Houston area Papa John’s are donating 10 percent of their Tuesday sales to the J.J. Watt Foundation. The foundation works to help finance after-school athletics for children in Wisconsin (Watt’s home state) and also in the Houston area.
