A group of passengers on a Frontier Airlines flight headed for Denver were treated to pizza, thanks to their pilot.
Gerhard Bradner, the pilot decided to order over 50 pizzas for his passengers when they were diverted from their destination. The flight was heading from Washington DC for Denver when they had to alter their course due to inclement weather. With thunderstorms disturbing the skies over Denver International, the plane was sent to southern Wyoming instead. With his passengers waiting on the tarmac for departure to their final destination, the pilot ordered the pizzas.
The passengers and the crew remained in Wyoming until the weather issues were gone. It was several hours later before they could depart for Denver. With full stomach, they finally arrived in Denver at 10:45PM.
