Pizza and Sushi in One Restaurant

They all say opposites attract and it must be true for Rice & Dough as the restaurant features a full menu of both Italian and Japanese cultures! But don’t get confused, it’s not a fusion of the culinary experiments, rather a menu filled with pizza choices and sushi choices.

The 2-month-old restaurant aims to offer both wholesome menus of two different themes in one sitting, even with alcoholic beverages; the restaurant offers sakes, wines and beers!

The concept is a unique experience in a casual date ambiance with Asian accented themes, found in the corner of Las Olas Boulevard.

Goran Perovic, one of the owners of the exceptional restaurant started the business after having an extensive training as a restaurant manager in different cuisines. One of his proud experiences includes working at the Delray Beach’s Grand Enoteka and Fort Lauderdale’s Bova Prime.

After 20 years in the restaurant industry as an employee, he and his partner, Amy Perovic, started their own and features not only Japanese and Italian food choices but also Croatia specialties.

Rice & Dough owners have also ensured that customers have more choices by allowing them to create their own charcuterie plate. The choices vary from cold cuts, cheese to spreads. In addition they have also allowed “creating your own pizza” or choosing from one of their 11 combinations.

Last but not the least, Rice & Dough offers sweet endings with their tiramisu, cheesecakes and for adventurous customers, they also offer “make-your-own sundae.”
