Pizza Counter App

If you’ve ever struggled to figure out the right amount of pizza to order, there’s an app for that.

The Pizza Counter app was created by web designer Rick Mendes from New Jersey. It helps you figure out how many pizzas to order based on the size of the pizzas available, how many people are in the group and how hungry everyone is. In addition, it will use your location to recommend nearby pizza restaurants.

The app does not require any personal information or a login. (You can opt out of allowing it to use your location). It brings up a screen that shows a sliding scale at the bottom. Use the slider to enter the number of people to be fed. Switch to a different parameter and enter the max size of pizzas offered by the restaurant you’re ordering from. On that same screen you can choose your appetite level: baby bird for those looking to nibble, human for a normal level of hunger and dinosaur for those with a giant appetite.

The app will recommend the number of pizzas to buy. All you have to do is choose the toppings!
