Pizzeria worker wins World Pizza Championship

World Pizza Championship, a portion of the Italy’s Parma Food Fair, reports that a 20 year old Italian pizza joint worker won first prize.

Leone Coppola, who worked for Veccia Ottocento pizzeria found in Gavirate, was announced the winner last Wednesday at the Fair.

The said pizza champ is the first ever to win the title of the first World Pizza Championship.

The 20-year veteran had been watched by over 20,000 people who attended and has showcased his skills that was acquired from the home of pizza – Naples.

Second place and third was filled in by Laura Meyer and Mara Mancosu.
