Risks of Private Information in Pizza Hut

Pizza Hut China has recently reported that their website are prone to hacking, where customer's data could be accessed. Private information could be at risk but the pizza chain promises that it will improve its website as soon as possible.

The customer data isn't as hard to get through the website, in fact, CCTV just reported last Saturday that they obtained a customer's address just by entering her phone number.

"It is not known how the address was found because the ordering website covers key numbers of all addresses, phone numbers and e-mails," Pizza Hut said in the statement.

Everything was in auto-fill format, for purposes of convenience for customers. Those who previously ordered pizza already will be having a record in their system.

"The design was for the convenience of our customers because they don't need to type in their address again if they want the food delivered to the same place," Pizza Hut said.

Although this idea is good for convenience, it is not safe. So if you will be spending your vacation there, be sure to order personally for the mean time to keep your information safe.
