September Month Means No Kid Hungry for Pizza Fusion

The all organic and natural pizza maker, Pizza Fusion, actively participated to a national fundraising activity. The organization is known as No Kid Hungry and aims to end childhood hunger.

Donations for the said organization can be given to all of Pizza Fusion’s branches in the U.S. and will go straight to its nutrition program fund, answering to school breakfast and summer meals.

Surprisingly, this program comes essential to 16 million struggling children and a third of them are ages five and below. A study also revealed that out of five children in America, one of them survives without food and as a result, the cognitive and physical developments of these children become affected, hence deprive them to maximize their abilities.

“It is heartbreaking to see how many kids in this country are affected by childhood hunger,” Vaughan Lazar, CEO and co-founder of Pizza Fusion, states. “I felt compelled to do something to help our country’s kids. As a restaurant, we provide a powerful vehicle for driving awareness and supporting this very important cause. We are proud to partner with No Kid Hungry in the fight to end childhood hunger in the U.S.”

To better influence the public about donations, Pizza Fusion will be giving out free coupons and freebies, depending on the amount the consumer donates.  A dollar gives them a free chocolate chip cookie on their next visit, $5 will mean a free flatbread and dip trio on their next visit, while $10 are given a free large cheese pizza on their next visit and the best offer of all - $20 donators will be given a free No Kid Hungry shirt.

In addition to the active advertisements in the shops and prizes, Pizza Fusion will also be giving a percentage of their September sales to the organization.
