A sad scene had arisen in Downtown Pizza, New Haven on Mother’s day when a 47-year old man got shot 4 times.
The victim, named Melvin Daniels was ordering pizza with his brother (who was waiting outside), and was suddenly shot by an unknown suspect.
With his critical condition, he was brought right away to Hospital of St. Raphael.
Witnesses have described the 2 attackers to be 5’11 – 6 feet tall, 200-230 pounds and pimpled faced, wearing a grey long sleeves shirt, dark blue jeans, dark sneakers, square glasses and a dark baseball cap. The associate, on the other hand is a short and thin man that has a messy short facial hair.
The vehicle used by these suspects were said to be either a four-door sedan or a station wagon that has a dark paint color and a dark tint.
Due to the incident, the pizza parlor, found at 182 Dixwell Ave. in the Dixwell Plaza decided to close the rest of the day since the 2:22 am report, instead of celebrating mother’s day with a free pizza.
