Smashburger, Tom's Urban 24 and Live Basil Pizza Opening in LA

The Denver based restaurants from Consumer Concept Group and AEG are going downtown. Right in Los Angeles, the L.A. LIVE Sports and entertainment will be experiencing the delight from restaurants called Tom's Urban 24, Smashburger and Live Basil Pizza in the fourth quarter.

The location of the restaurants will be at the Southeast corner of L.A. LIVE in a 24,000 square feet area. STAPLES Center will be the main view of customers in a totally new ambiance.

"This is an exciting move for us," said CCG Chairman Rick Schaden, "We have spent time developing really great restaurants that appeal to all types of consumers. We are now ready to put them on center stage in one of the biggest entertainment and lifestyle destinations in the nation, L.A. LIVE."

The founder of Smashburger and Live Basil Pizza is no other than Tom Ryan. This experienced engineer of food has been with various famous companies such as Pizza Hut, McDonald's and Quiznos. Believe it now when I say that he was responsible for stuffed crust pizza, lover's line, McGriddles, big 'n Tasty, dollar menu, fruit and yogurt parfait in McDonald's, steakhouse beef dip in Quiznos, Prime Rib and of course, Sammies.

Even though he was already named top 25 entrepreneurs, he still couldn't stop and continued on with Tom's Urban 24.

"L.A. LIVE is the right fit for us," said Schaden. "It's not only one of the nation's premiere entertainment capitals, but it has the urban setting we were looking for... a place where a great number of people eat, work and play. With the added bonus of being across the street from STAPLES Center as well as a focal point of L.A. LIVE, we couldn't be more enthusiastic about our new location,"

"We're very excited to have these three popular and proven restaurants join our great mix of entertainment options at L.A. LIVE," said EVP of AEG Ted Tanner, "Whether it's for lunch, dinner or late night food or an easy and comfortable setting to enjoy pre-game or post-game gatherings, Tom's Urban 24 in particular is sure to be a hit as the restaurant's cool vibe, modern food and affordable prices. As the mix of visitors to L.A. LIVE continues to include more and more guests attending conventions and other downtown events, these new restaurants will be welcome additions to L.A. LIVE and South Park."

All of this is expected by fourth quarter.
