Strawberry Cones Has Introduced Itself to the American Market

California isn’t just about American or Italian pizzas, it’s also about international pizza tastes!

Just around San Gabriel you will find one of the interesting tastes of Japan in an American setting. Strawberry Cones has introduced itself to the American Market with their unique pizza flavors, including mocha pizzas!

This Japanese Pizza chain has over 200 branches around Japan, one in Canada and now has two in United States – one in San Gabriel and one in Little Tokyo.

Pizzas are the highlight of their food selections but pastas are also available.

Their menu is pretty overwhelming for first timers as it features a mix of Japanese and American Cuisines in one. To some it may even be weird but according to the store, the most popular pizza flavor available is the Teriyaki Mochi Chicken Pizza that costs around $11.

The said popular pizza is made out of toppings that mix taste, topping it with chicken, small pieces of mocha, onions, teriyaki, cheese, mayo and most importantly, the ultimate Japanese topping, seaweed! (or as they call it, ‘Nori’) Crusts aren’t the usual dough either as the restaurant uses rice flour for an ultimate Japanese flavor.

For $12.80 you could also get something a little grey. Yes, I said grey. Grey as their Ninja Pizza’s grey crust that oozes with weird dough color because of its mineral enriched flavor. The ninja pizza has toppings that will probably blow you away with uniqueness as it lets you choose different flavors like Mochi Mentai and Avocado Salmon etc.
